Q: I am wondering which nock receiver (specs below are from the JoJan website) is supplied with the Mono Fletcher, and if the others are available? Q: After reading the posted answers, I'm still not sure if the right-wing/left-wing options on the dropdown menu are for straight-with-offset or for helical fletchings. If I order the right-wing option, will the included clamp allow me to fletch helical feathers? Asked on 1/6/2013 by Dan Know the answer? Answer this question 5 answers A: Dan, The Jo Jan website is a good refernce for details. I can tell you that a right-wing (or left-wing) clamp will only make helical fletchings. The straight clamp only makes straight fletchings, but you can angle it a little bit either way to aproximate a slight curve. Steve Answered on 1/7/2013 by Anonymous A: I ordered this jig in left wing for my Oxford shaft traditional arrows. I used 5.5" left wing helical feathers also ordered from 3rivers. Arrows came out beautiful and the jig worked perfectly for what I needed. Nice spin with this jig. Hope that helped, highly recommend! Sent from my iPhone Answered on 1/7/2013 by Anonymous A: I don’t think so, the whole straight with offset thing lets you offset the vane slightly left or right. This is what I do. The helical clamp spirals around the arrow shaft and a straight fletching would be impossible. Answered on 1/7/2013 by Anonymous A: The options in the drop down refer to the helical of the clamp. The offset can be modified on the fletcher itself. Answered on 1/7/2013 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery A: If you select the Right wing clamp, then you should use right wing feathers. Likewise, select left wing feathers with the left wing clamp. Strait should not matter. I use left wing feathers, and clamp (I am right handed), because most of the feather options on 3rivers are available in left wing only, so your feather options are much greater. Hope this helped. Q: Doe this jig do helical fletching? Asked on 12/17/2012 by Daniel from Keizer, Or Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Kinda, if you offset the jig slightly from center, front (example) right of center and rear slightly left of center, there will be a slight helical effect, but if you want true helical, simply order the helical clamp. Good luck: Paul Answered on 12/18/2012 by Skyryder from Holland Landing, Ontario A: Yes we have left, right , or straight Answered on 12/18/2012 by Dave from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Do you have this jig available with helical clamp, ie, HF-80? Asked on 10/24/2012 by dsjfghszmfg from xdmhvgdf, hgfh Know the answer? Answer this question 5 answers A: yes Answered on 10/28/2012 by Anonymous A: Yes, hf-80 is availble, but its not listed by that number. Instead look it up as "left wing or right wing." The straight option is the non-helical style. Each style can use any other clamp style. I bought the left wing jojan monofletcher, then also got a right clamp and a straight clamp. That way I can use any feather, and mount non-helical if desired. Answered on 10/25/2012 by Steve from Hartford City, IN A: No we only have Left wing Right wing and Straight Answered on 10/25/2012 by Dave from 3Rivers Archery A: They carry this jig with the left helical clamp or right helical clamp. Just use the drop down window to specify which one you want when ordering. Answered on 10/25/2012 by Anonymous A: Very easy and simple to use. Answered on 10/25/2012 by Anonymous
Q: Can you buy it with the 4 fletches jig or do you have to buy that on its own? Asked on 9/12/2012 by John from Smithville, Mo. Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This fletching jig comes with an indexer than can be used to make either 3 or 4 fletch arrows. You will not need to purchase a new indexer. Q: Is this to be mounted on a wood block/table or the like, or can it be used as is? (I see holes on the bottom) Thanks so much- this would be my first jig- haven't ever fletched my own arrows (yet) Asked on 10/24/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: You can sit on top of your bench or table with out mounting it and it works great. You can also get some wood screws and mount it to bench or table, it's up to you. Answer this question 1 answer A: If you have right wing feathers then you should use a right wing jig or do a right off-set with a straight jig. Answered on 10/4/2011 by Shawn from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Hi, I wanted to buy a Fletching jig and I could see that there is a right wing and a left wing fletcher. I wanted to know which one is better. I am a right handed shooter (basically I string with my right hand). Asked on 9/14/2010 by Rajesh from Virginia Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: You can use either wing, it effects how the arrow rotates in flight. You will find more colors available in left wing though.
