      A:

      Wood shafts can bend after being straightened yes. If you straighten a shaft and then seal it, it will be a little bit more resistant to bending, but will still do some.

    Does this Ace Roll-R work on shafts with very noticeable bends in the wood or is it just for slight bends?

      A:

      The Roll-R-Straight will work on slight bends and larger ones. I will hand straighten most of the bends out of the shaft. I use this to get the tougher bends out.
