The most common is left wing but it truthfully doesn't make a difference. I shoot both

      A:

It shouldn't make any difference whether you use left wing or right wing
feathers. The only difference that makes is how you attach the feathers to
the arrow, basically, how the fletching holder is aligned so the feather
      glues on correctly.

Absolute Not, it make no difference which wing you shoot right or left handed.

no you do not,im a right handed shooter and only shoot right wing feathers on all my arrows,no problem. however on my flu flu arrows i use left wing feathers only because i cant find right wing fluflu's. i notice no difference at all in accuracy

  • Q:

i shoot a 50 lbs montana long bow right handed . does it matter if i get left or right wing feathers . which one do i need to buy.
Asked on 6/22/2011 by Big Ben from Ellisville Ms

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

It will not matter if you shoot left wing or right wing. I would only suggest that you stick with whichever one you choose. If you already have a fletching jig, you will need to get the feathers that will match your clamp.
