Q: Can these adapters be used to replace uni bushings in Easton Platinum 1916 shafts? I prefer to use glue-on nocks rather than those plastic collared uni bushings. Answer this question 2 answers A: You will need to use the uni bushings to be able to use the nock adapters. There is no nock adapter specifically for aluminum shafts. The uni bushing will be the correct ID to be able to hold the nock adapter. Answered on 9/17/2012 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery A: Dear Clay: These work best on Carbon Express Heritage shafts (150, 250 or 350 shafts). All of these are 5/16 diameter. I am not sure that they would work on aluminum shafts. They have saved my carbon shafts from total destruction when I had an accidental Robin Hood shot. Good luck and shoot straight.
