The fletching jig I have used for 20 years came with both right and left hand clamps so I can't say one way or the other. But depending on the amount of helix (twist) of the clamp it would probably have an effect on not only placement on the shaft but also go against the natural design of the feather both resulting in poor arrow flight. Get the r ight wing clamp then you'll have a full set .
