  • Q:

For design purposes of our Arrow of Light banners, what is the length of the arrow from the groove of the knock to the bottom of the feather fletching - that will determine if we need 26 or 27" arrows?!

      A:

From the valley of the nock to the end of the feathers is 6.5".

      A:

The arrows I have are with the brass point and are just under 28" overall.
The length from the groove of the knock to the point end of the fletching is
exactly 6" and to the back end is exactly 1"

  • Q:

Are you able to put a primitive stone or bone arrow tip on this like you have with the Replica Award Arrow, Item Number: 4345? Or can you put blue and gold fletching on the replica award arrow? Bottomline, I like the Arrow of Light award arrow, but want a primitive looking tip, not a modern field tip

      A:

We do not offer installing of primitive points, but you could buy the plain arrow and points and just cut the end to tie the point on.

  • Q:

Regarding the model with the tip, is the total length 26" or is that the shaft length? And if it is the shaft, what is the total length?
    Asked on 1/28/2012 by Anonymous

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

The 26" length is calculated from the valley of the nock (or the groove where the string sits) to the back of the point. The overall length of the arrow from end of nock to end of point is around 28".
