Hi there. They do not warp much at all when heated. I find that they tend to move slightly away from the arrow when the heat is on. It cools so quickly that I set the wire, and check alignment to the arrow, turn it on, check again carefully without turning arrow, and then if I have to, adjust it with a screwdriver by pressing against the ribbon gently where I want it to move.
