Q: can you use the speed cap gasket system to put the cap colors on before you crest? And also can you use it with other sealers such as fletch lac and super coat? Thanks Asked on 7/1/2012 by Smitty Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Yes you can crown dip with the dipper cap and the little dipper. Q: Can you use this on carbon shafts for laquer paint. I want to base crest with a solid color Asked on 12/30/2011 by Rye from Brookston, IN Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer Q: Can you use the dipping system with stains? Also can you leave the stain or lacquer in the dip tubes for storage or should you dump it back into the original containers and clean the tubes? Asked on 11/24/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: With stain you wipe on or brush on, you would not dip it, because it would absorb to much of the stain and take to long to dry. I do leave the 3Rivers Gasket Lacquer in the big dip tube, but put a psc of Saran Wrap over the top and then put back on the cap for storage. Answered on 11/25/2011 by Shawn from 3Rivers Archery

Q: When clear-coating a full length shaft, how do you use this system? Obviously, you won't be able to dip the entire shaft since a small portion of it will remain above the gasket. Do you simply flip the shaft and dip from the other side? Asked on 2/22/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Hold the point end (which will be cut or tapered) that way once you cut your shaft to lenght you will cut the part that wasn't coated. You could also stick a thumb tack on the end and hold on to that. Answered on 2/22/2011 by Josh from 3Rivers Archery
Q: So what exactly are the components of this "system"? Asked on 2/6/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 0 answers Q: Is the gasket compatible with multiple shaft sizes.I will be using 11/32,but just wondering. Asked on 9/28/2010 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The gasket of the Speed Coat Arrow Dipping System can accommodate all size shafting as the holes are much smaller than shaft diameters. A shaft as small as 1/4" will work with the gaskets. Answered on 9/29/2010 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery
