Answered on 2/25/2013 by Clint from 3Rivers Archery VERIFIED BUYER A: We have only used this bow outdoors, but I assume that you are asking about an indoor archery range, and I cannot think of any reason why you would not be able to use this bow indoors as well. It is a smaller bow designed for children so it would not be too powerful in my opinion. I don't know what kinds of restrictions there might be at an indoor range so you may want to check into where ever you plan to go. Use either outside against an appropriate target or at an indoor range is highly recommended. Asked on 11/29/2012 by robinreflector Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers VERIFIED BUYER A: It is usually BUT NOT ALWAYS an indication of the regular hand preference. To tell which hand the child should shoot from have them hold their arm out directly in front of them with their thumb up, covering an imobile object - could be the target, could be something in your house, doesn't really matter. Then have them take turns to close their right eye and then left eye and see which action makes the item seem to jump. If the object shifts or jumps when they close their right eye then they are right handed, and vice-versa for the left eye. The object should not move at all when the correct eye is open. We have 2 kids in archery and this was the first thing the instructor did to discern which bow to shoot from. We have two lefties and it turned out that both also shoot left handed, however our instructor told us that occasionally they'll get a regular righty shooting left handed or a regualr lefty shooting right handed. The only exception would be a vision problem in the eye opposite the writing hand. If there were significant vision problems in the left eye for a right handed archer. Answered on 11/23/2012 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery VERIFIED BUYER A: Hi, I cannot vouch for where all of the items are made, however I have 2 daughters, age 12 and 10, and an 8 year old son who is very small for his age, 40#'s and 46" tall. We have only had one chance to take it out shooting but all three kids were excited. The girls both were able to draw the bow, but my son could only draw it partway. Again, he is small for his age and the bow is definitely something he would be able to grow into. If he were bigger and could almost draw it, he has the determination to stick with something until he can do it, but this bow is a little big for him at his size. Otherwise, this is a great kit and I was very pleased with the quality and the ability to break it down for storage. We were able to find videos on the website about setting up all of the components. This bow would be great for her to get real good form with and then she will be able to get upgrade to a heavier poundage bow. She handles the 54" - 24@26" without too much trouble. If your daughter is pretty strong, I would recommend the biggest bow which is the 62" - 36# @28". That way she wont out-grow it immidiately. That bow is a great way to get young kids involved in archery it has style and it comfortable to shoot. We do have video's for to watch they are called Masters of the bare bow volume 1-4 there are several different styles of shooting techniques in these DVD's to learn how to shoot.
