Q: um ok so what are the projects u can use a horn block for and can i file one side down and affix it to a wooden handle like a hatchet Asked on 3/4/2011 by robin hood anew from fort knox Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: I do not know that I would recommend the hatchet idea. This is commonly used for reinforcing limb tips or decoration of various items. It can also be used for nocks or points. Answered on 3/8/2011 by Justin from 3 Rivers Archery
Q: I want to consider the horn blocks. The question I have is.. Is one block going to be sufficient for one bow. Or would you recommend two blocks? I would imagine if the block is thick enough it might be easy enough to cut in half with the band saw. Asked on 2/8/2011 by Joe Bean from Kirkland,WA Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Depends on how you are going to use the horn block. If it will just be an accent then you may be able to get 3 or 4 bows out of it. If it is going to be a main piece in the riser then you may need 2 or 3 blocks. Answered on 2/8/2011 by Anonymous
