  • Q:

If I want to take the field points off and put on broadheads, how would I do so?
    Asked on 4/16/2013 by Frank

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

You would need to remove the point and then taper the point end of the arrow to install a broadhead. The Field points that are on these now have a long shank that is glued into the arrow and then wrapped at the point.

  • Q:

Can this be a target arrow? Will it be accurate in a Win & Win Inno CXT bow with ex prime limbs?
    Asked on 8/3/2012 by Ralphy

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

I would not recommend these arrows for target competition. Even though these fly well they are not as accurate as a well tuned carbon or wood arrow.

  • Q:

Can you cut these arrows down to a shorter length, then taper and re-mount the points?
Asked on 2/8/2012 by Anonymous from WV

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

You could cut these arrows down and then remount the points. By doing this will affect the spin weight of the arrows causing them to fly differently because it will stiffen the arrows.

      A:

These will be approximately 33'' long.

What is the spine on these arrows? Will they shoot well out of a 67# @ 28" Black Widow recurve? They look very interesting but I would want them to be accurate.

      The spine varies.

  • Q:

Can hunting broadheads be put on 125 grain weight and be used for hunting effectively, considering traditional material construction? Looking to use a korean bow for hunting and want to know if this is being or has been done before by your team or customers with any success??
Asked on 8/30/2011 by Trident from new york, NY

    2 answers

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

Yes, you can use a 125 grain broadhead to hunt effectively. That is still the most common weight of point used.

Answered on 9/24/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
    • A:

You can take the points off yourself to put on broadheads, but be careful not to damage the shaft when you do it. Art, one of 3Rivers Techs, used bamboo arrows with the Woodsman broadhead to kill a whitetail buck last year.
