Answer this question 2 answers A: You need to have a "hafting slot" in your arrow to slide the Steven Steel point into and then glue and bind it in place. We do not recommend them for hunting as they are rather thin and most likely not to hold up to bone hits and such. Answered on 11/24/2010 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery A: i cut a notch in the shaft, used pine sap for a glue and inserted the arrowhead, then wraped it with a fake sinew tightly, then covered it with some more pine sap. i shot it into my archey target many times and even into a wooden fence and the head stayed in not problem. as far as the big game hunting im not sure on that .
