No, this bow will not come with a string or instructions. I recommend that you get a dvd on bow building before purchasing this kit. Rattlestick by Gary Davis is a good source of bow building information and technique.

We may be able to special order a blank for you, give us a call at 1-866-587-9501 and we will get some information from you.

You should be able to tiller the bow down to that weight at 30".

You would be able to back this bow with any of those options. I would recommend using Titebond for all of the different backings.

  • Q:

What do I need to do to get this shooting. Also will it be good for bowfishing with a AMS retriver pro mounted by a AMS traditonal mout? Thanks

      A:

Their is a lot of steps for building a bow.I would call in and talk to one of the Tecs before buying one so you know what tools are needed.A good bowfishing bow is the Sage and your AMS would mount strait to it. This set up would work better and be more cost effective.
