Q: If i got this bow for the purpose of using it's full 32" draw, would i be able to request prefletched wood arrows that are cut to 35-34" (since usually they are cut to 32" correct?), and what spine would you recommend with say a 125-145 grain point? Also i recommend adding the option of having horn nocks installed by the manufacturer so the warranty is not voided when people try a DIY installation, since from what i hear the self nocks wear the string faster and don't look as great. We have some bamboo arrows that can be longer, but those are only raw shafts. Q: Is there a way to reenforce the nocks on this bow and if not is there any way that you can reenforce them for a buyer? Or can the buyer reenforce the nocks themselfs with the horn nocks? and if thats not possible would wraping the nocks with sinew work? Asked on 1/18/2012 by Bowmaster619 Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Yes, you could install horn nocks to the tips by tapering the tips to fit the shape of the horn nocks. We do not offer this as a service, and by modifying the bow you would void any warranty on the bow or horn nocks. I am not sure how much reinforcement you would be getting by using just sinew on the string nock areas. Answered on 1/19/2012 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery A: I'm not a bowyer but I'd say no there isn't a straightforward way of reinforcing with horn nocks. I have to say that I don't think the nocks need reinforcing as they're hard and durable. If anything, the self nocks wear the string quickly so I'd definitely get an extra string and/or serve the loops on the supplied string. Q: Will this bow handle a 35 inch draw and if so what arrows do you have that can handle the weight at max draw?My draw lenth is around 31 to the jaw and about 34 to 35 at the ear. And I would like to shoot this bow inboth styles. Also what doe the nock ends look like they are not pictured?Are they horn? Or strengthened with another material?
