  • Q:

What sort of colors can I expect when ordering this bow? The two photos I have seen are black or a green shade. I know there is not the option to choose a color but I dread the thought of some odd or bright color like red or a very unnatural, hard to disguise shade .

I have seen a couple of these bows and on all of them the shade of green on the limb wrappings are a little different. My bow has a lighter shade of green than the one in this picture.

      A:

You can use carbon wood or aluminum. It will all depend on the weight of the bow you choose and your draw length.

I use just regular carbon arrows but with feather fletchings.

      A:

A traditional wood arrow with real feathers, the shafts need to be spined to the draw weight of the bow. Plastic nocks work just fine.

  • Q:

I just received my Lynx II. Totally cool! How do I know what is up versus down? The handle has a dark piece of leather on half of the hand grip area. Is that the upper for shooting or that the grippy part? Totally different compared to the picture. Sorry about the stupid question. Product doesn't match the picture.

      A:

The dark piece of leather is top part of the grip this is where you locate you hand. The poundage is also marked on the upper limb.

      A:

I am not sure I did mine right, I looked at other bows and figured out where the nock point would be. I used a archery "T" square to determine the place where the arrow sets on my left hand and the nock point on the string. I am not sure I did this right but this is what I did with my Lynx. Mine did not look like the one in the picture.

What stringer would you recommend for this type of bow? Would the Thunderhorn Superstringer work for this one? Also which fur silencers would be best?

I like the otter fur silencers. You want to use the step through method for this bow.
