The Desert Fox Original Series are one of the first Tomahawks ever offered and are what helped build the reputation that Tomahawk Bows® now has. Known for their impressive combination of speed, smoothness, and stability. The secret is in the design. Our unique "trapped" deflex/reflex limb profile and special core of two inner edge-grain laminations in addition to the two outer flat-grain laminations provide the ultimate combination of inner strength and outer beauty. The Desert Fox uses warm contrasting hues of orange, red, and brown of the Desert Camo Action Wood to create a natural camouflage that stands out in a crowd, yet fades into its surroundings on the open desert. The riser is Super Action Wood with accent stripes. Limbs are Super Action Wood between two Desert Camo laminations. All Tomahawk Bows use Gordon's clear Bow-Tuff fiberglass, phenolic tip overlays, and high-performance Fast Flight Flemish twist string. Risers are cut approx 1/16" positive of center with a black calf hair rest and plate installed. Every Tomahawk Longbow is inspected and set up by one our 3Rivers Techs so it is in peak shooting condition when it arrives at your door. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
