The distinct Mohegan laminated riser sets this takedown recurve apart from the crowd. Perfectly suited for young archers of all ages. An excellent choice for those who prefer the warmth and beauty of wood. The no-tools-needed take-down system allows easy storage and transport. Available in right and left hand. Designed to allow shooting off an elevated rest only (Included). Imported.
All models are available with sight, stabilizer, and plunger bushings installed. Bowstringer not included. A bowstringer is recommended for stringing these bows.

I work as an Education Specialist for USFWS. I purchased four bows (one Mohegan) for two camps we put on for area JH and HS students. I was very pleased with the Mohegan we purchased. It was easy to set up, lightweight and traveled well. The kids really liked it, as did several adults on hand.

It seems to be a well made product for a very reasonable price. The only issues we had did not relate to the bow directly: the weather was damp at both camps and we couldn't get the arrow rest provided with the bow to stay on. The bow itself was outstanding- I am very pleased with the purchase.

Customer service was out of this world. Also, shipping was remarkable. I placed my order late in the afternoon on a Thursday and had my order the following Monday. I live in a very remote part of Alaska (no FedEx or UPS) and it's nearly impossible to get orders that fast. The only other company I've seen pull that off is Cabelas.

Please note that this review is written based on limited use (two weeks by about a dozen kids). The opinions offered reflect my own personal thoughts as a long time archer and is NOT an official endorsement from the USFWS.

For Christmas I bought the 62 inch 32# for my 12 yr old. I didn't want to spend too much but we have no tolerance for junky toys. We had no bow experience and used the 3 Rivers little video to put it together on Christmas Eve - thank you 3 Rivers. Pretty quiet and lightweight but still substantial. Beautiful wood. He uses it for target shooting and loves it. He can pull more than 32# but this was a great choice to start. Too soon to know about long-term durability, but quality looks great.

Well built as most adult takedowns. The bow has bushings installed for rest and quiver.This a serious bow for the young archer and yet is kid friendly.My grandson loves his!

brought 2 of these bows for my daughters chrismas presents one is still going good after a week of solid shooting the other lasted 3-4 shots before the top limb delaminated so still up in the air on the durability of these bows.

I find this bow perfect! It is easy to assemble easy to string and the folks at 3Rivers were very helpful in helping my choice along. This re-curve makes me very comfortable as I am a newcomer to the SCA and archery. This bow came in a very nice package and was packed very professionally. I am very grateful for the helpfulness of EVERYBODY at 3Rivers I would highly recommend this bow to anybody. I like it because it is light, easy to store because it is small when I take it down. It was very affordable and the professionalism of three rivers made ME very comfortable with my purchase. I can't say anything bad about my bow. I will shop with them again.

This is a great bow. Extremely powerful, so powerful it ripped the fletching right off of one of my arrows. Must use with a shelf. My accuracy improved dramatically with this bow. Santa brought this great youth bow to my 10 year old son for Christmas and he went nuts. He ran right outside to shoot it and found it's not at all a toy like his last bows. This bow has all the features of a expensive adult bow yet clearly in a weight he can handle. It looks to be very well made. We can't wait for the weather to turn as I'm sure we'll be spedning a lot of time in the back yard with it.

This is my 12 year old daughter's second bow, and a perfect step up from the 20# Bear fiberglass bow. She should be able to keep this 32# bow the rest of her life. She loves it! The only reservations I have with it were a couple of minor blemishes in the wood where it had been drilled...a little sanding and some coats of Gun Stock Oil and it was better than new!
