Comments about X-200 Recurve Bow By Martin Archery:
i've been an archer for several years, when i bought my first recurve a martin X-200. This bow is everything you could possibly need in a recurve. In my first year with it, I attended several 3-D shoots preparing myself for the upcoming deer season. I did pretty well with it, and got several compliments and "really thats a martin" comments. In the deer season, I was fortunate enough to take two does, the 50# stick shot pass-throughs on both. couldn't be happier thanks martin

Comments about X-200 Recurve Bow By Martin Archery:
He is very excited with his new bow. He adjusted pretty quickly and so far seems to like it very much. So, I am happy for a great purchase price and his satisfaction.
Delivery was on time, the product was received in good condition.
My son has only been shooting (taking lessons for 5 weeks) and he was using rented equipment. So now he has his own bow, so he has adjusted to it pretty quickly and seems to like the way it handles.

My father talked me into this bow as a Christmas present and I have been very happy with it. I took it to a friends. He took severel shots and commented on how smooth the draw was. If your a beginning traditionalist young or old you should seriously consider this bow for its smooth draw and its forgiveness of "Bad" or inconsistent shooting form.

Comments about X-200 Recurve Bow By Martin Archery:
My son worked for months to get the money up for this bow, He originally was looking at the Greatree takedown bow and I swayed him to this bow. He got the #30 model, and shoots it off the shelf, I had my concerns about shooting off the shelf, but once we got our hands on it I found it to be just fine for it. we did install a full rug rest as the leather one provided wasn't all that big, and I wanted to be able to cover the whole shelf. Typical Martin quality, USA made, and its great looking with the black glass and hunter green stained riser. When I was his age I would kill for a bow like this, and right now I'm quite jealous. I would highly recommend this bow to anyone youth or adult looking to start with traditional archery, adult males might find the grip just a little small for a big hand, but the thing shoots so great you quickly forget all about it.

Comments about X-200 Recurve Bow By Martin Archery:
Growing up we used homemade bows and arrows. I had used compound bows when I became older. The appeal to traditional archery was stronger. I have two handle types to the Martin X-200 bow. One handle has a full grip. The other has a a grip style similar to the Martin "Hunter." They are great bows. I get out and stump shoot or hunt as often as I can. I have some friends who come along on my treks out into the desert, and are considering a purchase of the X-200. I've told them my bow does not need to be a "speed demon" to be good. Its the shooter that makes it happen. They are great bows.

Comments about X-200 Recurve Bow By Martin Archery:
When my three teenage sons and I were looking to get into archery we knew that we wanted recurves and traditional equipment only. I had grown up shooting very simple compounds and taught by my father (who has both traditional and compound bows) to shoot instinctively. We were bitten by the traditional bug by attending several times the Compton Bow Shoot and knew that would be the only way for our family to go. With the need to buy so many bows at the same time and several dozen arrows, bow quivers, shooting gloves, arm guards bow stringers, etc, etc. We knew we had to keep our cost reasonable yet did not want to sacrifice quality and craftsmanship in the bows we chose. We found all that and much more with the Martin X200. This is a quality AMERICAN MADE bow at a very affordable price. We bought four bows after some test shooting at the store. After we got them home we bought one more in a lighter weight for Mom to use and a lighter weight Martin Rebel for our daughter to use. Since we bought them we have been shooting several times a week, some weeks every day. This bow shoots well and holds up. Also, we would like to say thank you to the staff at 3Rivers Archery. They have been very helpful and good to work with in both advice and in ordering. I highly recommend to all traditional archers to check out their store or give them a call for your archery needs. We are glad that we did. I don't think you can find any better service or selection anywhere.
