The Stick longbow by Martin Archery what we call a "micro-bow". It's suitable for youth, ladies, and even adult men depending on the bow weight ordered. This quality longbow is constructed of three limb laminations of Red Elm, under clear glass, and a hardwood riser. That makes this bow a shooter as well as a looker. We find that the Stick longbow gains a smooth three pounds an inch from 20" to 27". This attractive longbow is hard to beat for value and especially popular with young adults who want a longbow like mom or dad's. Bowstringer not included. A bowstringer is recommended for stringing these bows.
  • ATA 62" length gives a smooth draw.
  • Available in 35#, 45#, and 55# at 28". Please specify weight when ordering. Please specify left or right!

Comments about Stick Longbow By Martin Archery:

I've used and abused one of these bows for about three years now and it is still as good as new. In fact it has outlasted a custom bow which cost a lot more.

It is my bow of choice for roving because of its extremely light weight and moderate length. Everyone is surprised at how powerful this stick is and it is definitely not just a kiddies bow, but fully capable of taking small and medium size game.

It is a well-crafted and elegant understatement.

This bow in unbelievably light, smooth, and packs a punch.
Dont know why it's just listed in youth bows. I would have no reservations in big game hunting with it. My wife has a 35#, and my son a 50#.
I've klit ah bunch of critters with his 50.
Dont be fooled, if you need a inxpensive fine longbow here it is.
