Comments about Nirk Rebel Recurve Bow By: Martin Archery:

I use the Nirk Rebel for hunting, practice and copmetitions. It is a great bow that is accurate, powerful and quiet. This bow would have gotten a better review from me if it hadn't been tweeked soooooooooooooo badly because my Dad had almost broke his fingers when he strung it and it snapped back and hit him on his hand. But before that they sent the bow 10 lbs less than I wanted. And then after all the trouble it was still 5 lbs less than I wanted. But if that stuff didn't happen I would have said that this is BY FAR the best bow that I have ever had in my entire lifetime!!!

Service & Delivery comments:

I feel that the delivery servic on sending my bow was horrible. Otherwise the service was good.

Comments about Nirk Rebel Recurve Bow By: Martin Archery:

I bought my Rebel about 6-8 years ago when they were still around [$] from 3Rivers Archery. This bow is absolutely awesome. I have taken 6 whitetail, 1 black bear, and numerous rabbit with it since I have moved to the U.P. of MI. Groups great at any reasonable distance. I nor any one else who has shot this bow feels it is youth/ladies bow! I tell friends that this is how the bow has always been advertised and they about cr_p. Excellent workmanship in mine. I shoot arrows that I make from 3Rivers port orford cedar, and they fly extremely well. Great bow! Great buy!

The new 2009 model w Bubinga riser is a much improved bow. Looks and feels better than the older model, which was pretty good too. A lot of value for the money. In my hands, at the same draw weight, shoots the same arrows as fast, smooth, quiet, and accurate as some other bows I've tried at hundreds of dollars more. This isn't just a good youth/ladies/beginner's bow, it's a good bow period.

I really think this is a great bow. I've shot a lot in my 39 years and this bow does the trick for me. I'm a male and I'm not as youthful as I have been, and that is why I think this bow should be advertised in the Martin Bows "adult" section too. Learn to tune the bow yourself and get some good arrows, I use Three Rivers hunter arrows, and you've got it made. Also check out the Byron Ferguson items. DPGratz

Comments about Nirk Rebel Recurve Bow By: Martin Archery:

I went bowfishing with many recurves but Nirk Rebel is the best light, short, compack, fast and very easy to manuver I even shot small fish at fast flowing river. My bowfishing arrow spine match perfectly with my new 45# Rebel.
