The 3Rivers youth bow and arrow set is a great way to get your kids started in archery. Everything you need is in this set. Includes: Popular take-down recurve bow with elevated rest and bowstring, three durable 26" feather fletched wood arrows, tournament style hip quiver, bowstringer, an armguard, shooting tab, target, and even a case to store it all in. Like we said, everything your kids need to start shooting a bow and arrow. Available in: Right or left handed in a 54" bow of 24# @ 26" or a 62" bow of 36# @ 28". Please specify. Imported. As kids grow older, you'll have a better feel for just how strong they are. This set is recommended for ages 10-18. The 24# bow normally for ages 10-14 and the 36# bow for ages 14-18 (Click arrow for assembly instructions)

I bought this kit for my 12 year old son who developed an interest in archery during a school vacation camp. We looked around locally first and all I could find were either cheap almost toy bows, or very expensive compound set ups. This kit is exactly what we wanted. It is either identical or very similar to the camp's bows, a robust well made quality item. By purchasing the kit we received everything we needed to get started in one box. I am not qualified to comment on the performance of this set up. But as an introduction to archery it offers a great way to get started.

Overall, this is a pretty good bow set. The kit, however, does not come with instructions, so i was a little confused on where to put the arrow rest. The stringer that comes with it is not very good, and sometimes slips off the ends of the bow. If you want to shoot properly, you have to buy a target. Otherwise, great for shooting snowmen.

This set was everything I expected. The bow seems to be well crafted and relatively simple to setup. Good bow for me and my son (12) to practice with. No assembly instructions were provided but if you click on the Archers Den link on the 3Rivers page, there are some great instruction videos and I got our setup in no time.

Very nice beginners set. Includes all you need. My son loved it and I like it too.

This being a set for beginners, the one possible improvement would be better instructions on how to assemble. Although not difficult to figure out, some beginners may be puzzled for a while trying to assemble it.

I use it for competition, deer hunting, target shooting and is very durable. It is easy to draw if you lift weights but if you want to be able to draw it back and you don't lift wieghts you might want to start. the stronger arms you have the longer you can aim the arrow and get the right shot.

Great first bow set for a 10 yr old boy. Beautiful look and array of accessories. Needs clear set of instructions with diagrams ... very frustrating for a beginner to put bow together ...quiver ties are awkward.

We need written instructions--what's this thingy? how does this go on? what's this for? The youtube instructions for stringing the bow did not show the stringer we were sent. We still don't know how, why, or where the adhesive-backed hook goes, so it's still in the package.
