I have used these in the El Paso mountains in the Western Mojave Desert of California. Anyone that knows this area also knows it is among one of the most dangerously dry and rocky areas in the Western United States, likely to be very unforgiving to wooden arrows. In combination with wood screw adapters and screw-in Snaro bird points while shooting them through a 55# paddle bow, these arrows hit cobbled rocks, desert dry branches, and heavily pebbled flash-flooded river bed sand numerous times while only receiving minor finish scratches on the front portion of the arrow. I would not recommend putting them through the same kind of punishment I did, but these arrows are accurate and just plain tough.

These arrows are great. I have been doing alot wing and ground shooting with these arrows and not one has failed me yet even after the abuse i put them through. These arrows with Bunny Busters on them work wonders when shootin at rabbits and magpies.

I've bought several dozen arrows from 3Rivers over the years and have always been impressed with the quality of their products. These arrows though are a notch above and are well worth the price. As I noted in another review, my first shot with these arrows penetrated the entire target fletching and all. I was convinced that I was going to find a featherless shaft on the other side of the foam but the arrow looked untouched and as pristine as it had when I took it out of the box. Several shots later I could no longer tell which arrow had been the one that blew through the target. There's a thing called trust that you don't find in many products these days but I know that I can trust these arrows to perform in any scenario that I can think of. That fact is worth much more than what I paid for the arrows.

Arrows are great construction! The only problem I had is its supposed to come with 3 of each color. I got all 6 of yellow and red. Not a big deal though.

By looking at the picture in the catalog you would assume you would get 3 red and yellow and 3 black and white. I got 6 black and white., which is fine, but I didn't see anywhere when ordering where to specify color.
