Comments about String Leech 4 pack:

I use these on both my compound bows and recurve. I find it does a good job silencing the twang of the string without slowing down the arrow. It is made of a 1 piece rubber type materal so you don't have to worry about it getting wet, bunching up, or giving off an odor. It is very easy to install on a traditional bow string but I put some serving above and below the string leech and slide them tight to the leech. This prevents them from falling out when the bow is unstrung. The only problem is with the high performance compound bows they don't have a long life before they break off and need to be replaced. If by some chance you own a crossbow don't waste your money on these or the super string leech. I've tried the super string leech on my crossbow and 1 blew apart after 5 shots and the other after 7 shots. As far as my recurve is concerned I've shot them everyday for 2 months preparing for the hunting season. They were still fine showing no signs of breaking down when I put my bow away for the winter. I shoot a 70 lb Super Kodiak with a 31" draw, this bow has decent performance for a recurve and the leeches are holding up so far. I'd recommend them. I hope this helps.
