Nice little toy to have in your "possibles pouch". Use it outside on a long shot!
Comments about Whistling Points:
Got a friend with training wheels? Stick one of these on his arrow and watch his surprise when it takes off.
Comments about Whistling Points:
Use it with friends. Its a fun thing to have. I only have a 30 lb. bow but it still makes a good sound.
Comments about Whistling Points:
PRODUCT: -Not a serious use item. -just fun
SERVICE/DELIVERY: all OK
Comments about Whistling Points:
Fun point. Sounds just like a bottle rocket but safer. Good way to get kids more interested.
Comments about Whistling Points:
I have bought two of these whistling heads and I bring them out now and then when practicing. They will get peoples attention. They are not the most accurate of arrow heads, but for the novelty of it makes up for it.
Comments about Whistling Points:
These points are just the ticket for getting attention at the range. They are heavy. Mine (for 5/16' diameter shafts) weigh 225 grains. Once I adjusted for the extra weight they were quite accurate. The outer casing is removable (unscrews) for cleaning. Anyone who has an interest in Central Asian/Asian archery or just wants a cool novelty item should check these out.
Comments about Whistling Points:
Fun, fun on the range. The guys next you on the range being a little too serious? Let a whistler loose into that big foam buck down range! Fun stuff.
Comments about Whistling Points:
This item was disapointment. Don't waste your money on it.
Comments about Whistling Points:
Did not make a lot of noise as expected.

Comments about Whistling Points:
I purchased the whistle points just for fun, and I wanted to impress my fellow SCA archers. The whistle sound is not as loud as I expected, but I only use a 32 lb. bow, which may contribute to the lack of volume.

Comments about Whistling Points:
they are fun to play with and they do whistle, but not very loud. for some reason other ppl I know whow own them seem to have louder results then mine. I can barley hear mine when i fire it off. But they are fun to play with.

Comments about Whistling Points:
Screw-ins are bit heavy. Whistle is loud and clear. Great fun in the back yard. Easily retrieval from layered foam targets. Two-part construction makes clean out easy. Shot from a recurve and a compound with thrilling results. Kids love them.

Comments about Whistling Points:
It's a fun toy, but you need a really big field to let it fly. It's a toy. I played with it for a day then gave it to a friend who did the same.

Comments about Whistling Points:
The points made a barely audible high pitch whistle. Not like some I have heard that sounded like a sky rocket taking off, which is what I expected.

Comments about Whistling Points:
You will love these points. I used one at a 3D fun shoot 2 weeks ago, not for every shot, just when I wanted to turn a few heads. The point unscrews from the body to allow you to clean mud and foam out of the point which you must do to keep 'em whistling. My first shot everyone in my group asked "What was that?" It was great. Stainless construction. They are on the heavy side. Have fun.

Comments about Whistling Points:
Service was quick and product was great. Should remind archers that the whistle works best at 45# pull bows and above.

Comments about Whistling Points:
It is a lot of fun playing around with these points. It sure turns some heads when other shooters don't know you are shooting it. Only thing is don't shoot them in a foam target like a 3D target. I did once and then you half to pick the foam out of the point for it to whistle. Best shot in a sand pit or straw. But a lot of fun!

Comments about Whistling Points:
This item is an eye opener and a true party special. Both kids and adults are amazed. Great for reenactments. A must have for all ages and all archery degrees.
Service and delivery outstanding. Delivered in individuals packaging and service right to your front door. I have not had any problems in over a year.
Comments about Whistling Points:
Well it can be used for medieval/SCA events for a signal arrow, but it's just fun [...] to shoot! Very easy to attach. Just screws right on and you're ready to shoot. More of a novelty item..
Comments about Whistling Points:
Works great for shocking friends while camping.
Comments about Whistling Points:
I shoot it while it's attached to a flu-flu arrow. I, as the archer, only get to hear a small portion of the sound, but as I stated in the "best uses" box it's just fun to shoot!
Comments about Whistling Points:
Great show stopper! Kids enjoy it. Super great for reenactments or great just for kicks.
Comments about Whistling Points:
Great item for any user. Kids enjoy the Whistling Points. Super for reenactment.
Comments about Whistling Points:
Loved the whistling arrows. We added then to our demo and the crowd loves them.
Comments about Whistling Points:
Fun to shoot. Neat sound. Unfortunately the brass is soft and the tip collapsed after a short time. They're a little expensive to break so easily. They are heavy; I put it on a flu-flu and the weight carries the flu-flu well. Fun while it lasted.
Comments about Whistling Points:
Fun to shoot.
Comments about Whistling Points:
Giddy like school children...Like the Huns we are - my buddy and I loose these babies one after the other (laughing the whole time).
Comments about Whistling Points:
These are not quite as loud as I expected. More of a 'shhhhhhh' noise rather than a true whistle. They can be tough to get out of a target since the diameter is wider than I expected. If you shoot into dirt, you need to take it apart to clean out the dirt. Not very useful. Guess they would be good if you were into re-enactments or SCA, but that's not my thing.

A fun novelty item. Bring a small nail with you to clean out the point after each use. The screw off head makes cleaning easy.

Comments about Whistling Points:
Built like a Sherman Tank. This thing sounds like something out of the movie Robin Hood. It has a low whistle as it flies and really sounds kool. It's heavy, about 250 grains somewhat, but is fun to shoot. Try it to find out what your arrows will do with heavy points and a shaft that's big on FOC. Their great as a blanket prize for a club shoot too. If you shoot it in to the dirt you'll have to clean em out, but, so what.
Comments about Whistling Points:
To hard to pull out of target. When used with airel targets, have to clean between shots. Not loud enough.
Comments about Whistling Points:
They are fun! They whistle pretty loudly, you can realy turn some heads at the archery range. They aren't quite as loud as I'd hoped they would be.
Quick delivery, expensive for the small amout of epuipment ordered.
Comments about Whistling Points:
Can't give a detailed report on this item as it only survived one shot! I shot it as soon as I got it- out of my backdoor into a foam target. The arrow went through enough to hit the wooden stake that supported the target and snapped the end completely off. I realize this is a novelty item and would not expect hunting durabilty from it (though one might considering the cost!), but it would have been nice to have gotten a few shots from it with my grandsons in attendance :>(
