Gives your target arrows a distinctive look.
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
They look period appropriate and shoot as well as equal-weight field points. The only problem is that they're harder to pull out of the target & they seem to chew the target up more than field points.

Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
Those traditions points are excelent for practice and small game hunting, very easy to pull them out of the target and when they hit the body they skips the bones looking for the vitals
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
They look great and shoot straight!

Incredible points! Versatile, rugged, durable, classy, and hard hitting, these points are a must for any medieval enthusiast. Love 'em to death. They are heavy, and can get really stuck in the event of a miss because of that flare at the top. However, when you launch these points out of a powerful bow like the Bear Grizzly, you can hear your target beg for mercy with each shot. And they're really sharp too. Another great product available from 3Rivers!

I used these points in my first SCA competition this weekend. Absolutely no problems. Balance was good. They passed inspection easily. Fit and finish were perfect.

These arrow heads are great for target practise; both for field archery and 3D targets. I will definitely buy this product again.

Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
The Ace Medieval tips add a whole new level of realism to my SCA experience. When I used them at a recent event the sighting of them was followed by many "ooo's" and "ahhhhhh's".
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
These points work very well for targets. If used on plastic foam targets they may need a dab of liquid soap before shooting so that they pull easier. The back end needs to be turned down so that it blends with the shaft, best done by "screwing" them on a stub peace of wood shaft in a drill press and filing them down to a straight diameter with the shaft.

Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
Very good quality. Looks really good on the shaft.
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
Cons: They don't match the shafts well but I ram them on a shaft stub and in a drill press use a file to dress them down till they do.

Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
looks good but does not fly too good
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
these are great looking points, easy to install and shoot accurate!
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
The back end could use some cutting down in diameter. I did it by chucking a scrap piece of shaft in the drillpress, screwing the point on the taper and filing down the dia. with two files and adding some cold blue to the bright spots. I have 18 arrows so far that I use for practice and am going to build some more.
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
Very pleased with how easily they were to put together and enjoyed putting them together. Can not wait to stick it to a deer this season.

Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
These points are great for target practice and small game. Also if you are into SCA or historical renactments they are just the ticket. Very durable and fly well.
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
I like these points, very well made, but a little difficult to get straight. Thay dont go all the way flush to the shaft, maybe a different taper? Never the less, very happy with these points.
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
I am puzzled by the reviews that said there was breakage upon impact,or point loss. If your shafts are tapered properly, and you are using good quality shafts and adhesive, there should be no problems. I like these points. The weight is fairly consistent, and they just look different. Shoot pretty good, too. A tip - Spin them in a drill and slightly round the point. They won't dull so quickly.

Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
If you're trying to make your own medieval style arrows, these tips somewhat approximate a bodkin style tip. They're not really authentic, though--they look obviously machined rather than forged, and the point portion of the head is round in cross-section whereas most real bodkins were square in profile. The latter problem is relatively easily corrected with a little filing or some light forging, though, and all in all these make a decent, reasonably priced non-modern arrow head.

First of all the price was great! Compared to all the other places we looked, these were cheap! My sister contacted me about working together to make arrows to be auctioned at an SCA function. We finished them today and I wanted to test an arrow for function. I also wanted my sister to try one because she had helped build them. She hasn't shot a bow in years and she missed the target, putting the arrow through one of the fence panels in our back yard. The arrow came out in perfect shape because the point had knocked a hole big enough for it to clear! Thanks
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
Made arrows to look like ole English arrows my dad used to make in the 1930's. Interesting, conversation starter, accurate, tough in dirt and stumps, a blast to shot. Best roving day ever!
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
I tried these in spite of the mixed reviews and found them to work quite well. I used a CA gel glue rather than the hot melt and have never lost one or had one break an arrow. I have only used the 11/32 points so I'm not certain how they will work on the 5/16...might be too heavy and cause some problems.

Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
While thse are not true medieval points they are a reasonable facsimile. Overall, I like them. They do fly and pierce the target well and are not too difficult to remove.A blacksmith friend improved these points by turning them in true bodkin points. He ground the sides down into the classic pyramid bodkin shape. This streamlines the aerodynamics of the point, reduces the weight by approximately 20 grains, and radically improves the sharpness of the points. My arrows have better balance, fly straighter with more stability, pierce the target further, and are easier to remove from any target backings I shoot into. Better that any other point I have ever used. I LOVE EM, and all my friends want them. Well worth the money, especially after they are modified into true bodkins.

Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
Good for looks only. Lost the first on I stuck in a football turkey target. I Didn't bother to shoot any more for fear of loosing those also. Like I said, they LOOK good, but...
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
Looks great and pulls easily from foam targets. These things are amazing!!
Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
The diameter on the point is greater than the shaft so the bales can never grab the target. Also, impact will often break the shaft off at the point, even when impacting haybales.

Comments about Ace Classic Medieval Points:
don't waste your money buy field tips. they are of much higher quality and do not lose their sharpness as easily.
