Step back into medieval times and prepare for War! Bodkin points were commonly used by medieval English archers for target shooting and during battles. Cousin to the armor piercing long bodkin, the short bodkin could be produced in the mass quantities that wars demanded. Rugged looking, but very functional. Design and material makes these short bodkins the strongest bodkins we offer. Sold by the 3-pack in 125 grain. Our 11/32" diameter will fit both 11/32" and 23/64" arrow shafts, and can even work on larger diameters such as 3/8" and 1/2", which were common for English medieval war arrows. For these points to fit you must taper the point end of your arrows to 5 degrees. See all our tapering tools . Not to be used for SCA or LARP combat.

I used these points to make medieval arrows. They have a pleasing medieval look. However, there are obvious machining marks on them, making them less authentic. Also, the patina, which looks very nice initially, eventually wears away after a few hours of use. Overall they are nice, relatively affordable medieval style arrowheads.

I have personally been getting into the medieval style of archery and when 3Rivers reviewed these style of points I was all for them. They do not look like field points, have a brownish swirl mixed in with the black. REALLY nice 'old' look to them. They cost a bit more, but they are precision made and stronger than any other bodkin like point I have seen. If you are looking for a blend of medieval look with modern performance THESE are the points. Shoot all day with them!!
