I hunted with one this fall. It is the best quiver I have ever used including back pack quivers, and bow quivers on the bow or a sling. It has all the features of a cat quiver related to getting arrows out of the quiver without noticeable motion and the protection of feathers. The best thing about it is the ease of positioning it for carry and stalking. I have used it with back pack, fanny pack, no pack, and on my four wheeler scouting. The only quiver that has ever come close to that is a bow quiver on a sling. The problem with those is that protecting feathers requires a very crude fleece pocket that crushes feathers and gets tangled up. In my opinion the safari tuff is the best hunting quiver ever. I gave my brother one for Christmas and he loves it. He used a small and long back quiver for 30 years as his only quiver. After he took the new one out one time for judo shooting the day after Christmas he is completely sold on it.

I use the quiver daily for target shooting. It also get a good workout when I hog hunt. My feathers stay dry when it is raining. I can only say good things about this product.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
The product arrived and was exactly as advertised. Quality workmanship and well thought out design. The exterior material should be relatively quiet in the brush and won't collect burrs as would other materials.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
This quiver works as advertized. I rides very comfortably and is well built.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
I sought 3River's advice on this one, and they pointed me in the right direction. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I'm glad I got this. It's easy to us, pretty quiet in the brush and seems to be very well made. I'm sure I'll be using this quiver of years.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
I find the quiver more than satisfactory for my hunting.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
I don't like to shoot with a bow quiver attached to my bow. I had been using a hip quiver and it was tough to navigate through the thick spots. This quiver is well made and easy to carry.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
I went back and forth as to whether or not to order this quiver or the more traditional leather type. As soon as it arrived, I could see I made the right decision. Nice capacity, lightweight and easy to manuever. Great, quality construction. I've been through a bunch, this one definately takes the cake.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
Plan on using the quiver out of a tree stand in November.
It is very quiet and will no more dull broadheads than any other foam insert quiver when used correctly. The thing to remember, is to have the end that doesn't have a hole in it pointed down. That will eliminate a lot of the rattling.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
Good compromise between back quiver and side quiver. Can wear with a pack. Protects feathers in wet weather. Lightweight. Very satisfied.

Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
This is a very good product. It's a back quiver or side quiver. The shades of camo blend well. This quiver is quite quiet and will hold a lot of arrows. Hunting Quebec moose you will need a lot of arrows if you want some fine spruce grouse for the stew pot and this is where this quiver shines. The arrows are protected in the canoe and the bright fletch is hidden. You have enough room for broadhead arrows and a hand full of woodies for the fun grouse and this leaves your bow uncluttered and light in the hand.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
This quiver is a lot nicer than I expected. It was very well thought out. It works great in the woods. I have no regrets buying this quiver.

Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
Holds up to nine broadhead equipped arrows with no problem. Twelve can get crowded but is still doable. No rattling and no smashing of feathers unless you are inept. Keeps the feathers dry, and grants easy access. If not lashing it to your backpack, then add a strap to go around your waist.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
Easy to adjust fit, very easy access to arrows, easy to load, comfortable to carry, stays in place. All you could want in a quiver of this type. Much lighter than leather, but probably won't last as long -- but either would outlive the owner.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
Love the quiver. Haven't had it in wet weather yet but i'm sure it'll do fine. Probably never use a bow quiver again.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
This quiver is almost perfect for a hunting quiver: no noise, rides real good on my back, and easy arrow removal. My bright feathers are hid from sight and protected.
This quiver was well thought out. If you don't like a quiver attached to your bow, and don't care if it is a traditional leather quiver, this is a good one.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
Keeps fletching dry and works well with all my backpacks. Easy arrow removal and replacement.

I've been looking for the perfect quiver for decades. Now I can carry a bunch of arrows quietly and safely without messing up the balance of my bow. Thank you Safari Tuff.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
This quiver stands alone. Totaly silent and durable!
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
I have used this quiver as a hunting quiver. I have found it easier to manuever than others that I have bought (Asbel side quiver) or made. It tucks behind the back easily and stays there when going through tough brush here in northern Maine. I would like a second pocket on it, but really find that it works very well as it is.

Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
I have every cat quiver and they work. This one is useless. I'm going to take scissors to the bottom, put foam in the top and try and make it work. It's a really, dumb design certain to rattle and dull anything inside.
Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
I've tried far too many quivers over the years to count. Most had design flaws that would let you down at the moment of truth. Not this one; it's extremely well thought out!

Comments about Safari Tuff Side Quiver:
I've tried quite a few over the shoulder quivers and this one is the best by far. There's plenty of room for your broadhead arrows as well as a couple stump shooters. The detachable weather shield protects your feathers. The pocket is handy for small accessories, and the adjustable strap allows your choice of carry locations. I've used this quiver when wearing a backpack and when not wearing one. It hangs well in both cases. If you don't like a bow quiver hanging on your bow, this is a perfect choice.
