I currently use the quiver for the 3D and target rounds. The compartments are large enough to hold as many arrows as necessary, up to a dozen comfortably. Easy access to your arrows, even when full! I'd buy it again!

Comments about Dave's Hip Quiver:

This Quiver has the feel of Quality. However it has a couple of leather tongs (tiedowns?) that seem superfluous and stay in my way more than anything else. Not That big of a deal but I feel that it may be improved with them deleted.
Having said that, I've used it on two 3D shoots now and I'm glad to have it. Looks nice too.

Comments about Dave's Hip Quiver:

This product is a well made quiver. The design places the arrows exactly where you want them to be... out of the way for shooting, yet easy to get to when you need that second arrow. The construction is superior and this quiver should last a lifetime. One of the Best. Thanks 3Rivers Again for quality products.

Comments about Dave's Hip Quiver:

Leather is always nice & this quiver does not disappoint. It is great for target shooting in the back yard or on the 3d trail. I really like the quality & craftmanship of this item. Not sure about the long strand of the leather strip hanging down the side of the quiver, but I give this product a thumbs up for sure. flyguy

Comments about Dave's Hip Quiver:

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. We have a 3-D archery range with 35 targets on our ranch and shoot almost everyday. He really likes this quiver, it replaced his old quiver that was falling apart. Now another archer here is looking to buy one. It is very well made.

I was surprised on how well the hip quiver was and the stitching top of the line. I have used a back quiver over 40 yrs but due to all the hot weather last month had to change and glad I did.

Comments about Dave's Hip Quiver:

I bought this as a gift for my husband. It is the only thing he now uses for target shooting. It is larger than it appears, and holds up to a dozen. It is top quality leatherwork as well. I'm sure he'll have it the rest of his life. My husband said to me, "make sure you give it a good review, they deserve it."

Dave's Hip Quiver: A+!
By NDTerminatorVerified Reviewer from Devils Lake ND on 3/17/2008
Pros:
Easy to Access, Good Capacity, Lightweight, Quality Construction
Best Uses:
Dry Weather, Stump Shooting, Target Shooting
Describe Yourself:
Expert Archer
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Dave's Hip Quiver:

Well constructed, attractive Trad hip quiver. Perfect size/capacity for target, tournament, or stumping. I really like that it has plenty of room to carry and access a couple judo points as well as target arrows. I would rather it have a flapped exterior pocket rather than the flat slash type, but that's a small issue. All in all, well worth the money. I recommend it...

It is a great quiver for 3D shoots
By Bob the AussieVerified Reviewer from Adelaide, South Australia on 3/7/2008
Pros:
Easy to Access, Good Capacity, Lightweight, Multiple Compartments, Quality Construction, Water Resistant
Best Uses:
3D shoots, Dry Weather, Stump or field shooting, Target Shooting, Wet Weather
Describe Yourself:
Recreational Archer
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Dave's Hip Quiver:

I have previously used a back quiver but I think for 3D shoots and stumping I prefer Dave's Hip quiver. Construction and quality is great, easy to grab an arrow, more comfortable and cooler on hot days than a back quiver.I disagree with the previous reviewer though and would not use this for hunting. Broadheads would cut laces and even if a broadhead sheath was used I think this would be too tight. Also the quiver is not secure enough for hunting( except perhaps blinds or stands), in rough terrain and thick scrub or bush the arrows would be dislodged from the quiver. This is not a criticism of the quiver as I don't think it is intended for hunting. Again the quality of the quiver is excellent.
