This clever quiver by the Great Northern Bowhunting Co. was specifically designed for the Fred Bear "A" and "B" riser recurves. (But it will fit any bow with riser inserts.) Easy on and easy off. Holds five arrows. Available in right hand and left hand, black or brown.

Good Quiver, holds 11/32 shafts just right, easy to get arrows in and out of, remains silent when shooting and does not come loose. About the only thing I would change is to make the leather hood a bit deeper. Long broadheads extend below the bottom of the hood an inch or so and you must be careful not to bump against them. It should be noted that I use Howard Hill Broadheads and they are 3-1/2 inches long, probably the longest broadheads in use today so the length of the hood should not be an issue for most archers.

I have tried many other quivers and right out of the box I could tell that this quiver was going to be the end of my search. It is so easy to install a child can do it and it does not rattle or move at all. I do wish that the broadhead hood was a little deeper for more broadhead coverage but I can let that slide and still easily say that this is the best quiver I have ever owned. Before I got this quiver I gave the 4 arrow model of the Mini-Max a five star rating, but in comparison, the Great Northern is in a league of its own. Spend the money and buy a Great Northern.

This is my second quiver from Great Northern and it is nice to have the screw in ability for my side mount bow, in this case a Palmer recurve. I have the strap-on type for longbows ( but it works great on recurves too ). The side mount model is light, solid and superb quality. I was afraid I would not get the quiver soon enough to go on my elk hunt but it showed up in about 3-4 days after I ordered it-standard shipping. For my money, there is not a finer bow quiver than ones from Great Northern. One nice feature of the side-mount is that you do not have to worry about the rubber srtaps breaking like the ones on the strap-on models do, from time to time. Easy on and easy off with the big, knurled knobs too. I would highly recommend one to anyone with sidemounting capability on their bows.

The quiver fit just perfect on my Predator recurve. It's easy on and off and very light weight and looks great too! I did try carbon arrows in the quiver and they moved around alot when you shot, but aluminums and wood not a problem.
