In the heat of battle, the medieval archer would often have to place his quiver on the ground for quick access to his arrows. As a result, many quivers of the period were made from simple sack cloth with a leather spacer to hold the arrows. This allowed the archer quick access to his arrows, whether the quiver lay on the ground during battle, or was slung over his back while traveling. Modeled after those found on the Mary Rose, the Medieval Battle Quiver holds up to 24 arrows comfortably, arrow diameter can be up to 1/2" thick, just like the medieval battle arrow shafts! Not to be used with broadheads. Overall length is 40" and strap is adjustable to the perfect fit! Made in the USA from duct canvas and cotton rope.
