Get a metal detector

I bought these for my new 3R Hunting arrows. The arrows are awesome! I love them! The "fur" tracers on the other hand, not so much. They were supposed to help me find my arrows when I lost them. However, it soon became apparent to me that they would not work as desired. When I loose an arrow, it goes just underneath the grass, and the tracer does absolutely no good at all.

In addition, I think the tracers make the arrows look goofy, and ruins the awesome traditional look of the wood. My mom and sister thought that they made my arrows look "cute", seeing as I had installed the Ace replica points, "cute" was not exactly what I was going for. If you do any kind of competitive shooting, or reenactment shooting, these are not a good choice.

The best way to find lost arrows is with a metal detector.

Under shadowy conditions, arrow flight and impact are easily tracked. When shooting 3D my friends have me shoot first to mark the target. Also allows you, and others, to immediately identify your arrows when multiple shooters are shooting the same target. Does not change arrow flight. Gives your arrows that sporty "pimped out" look. For dry weather only. Removing the paper backing off the adhesive can be a little tricky, but once installed they won't peel off.

These allow you to hunt with camo / dark arrows or (in my case) overcome some colorblindness) and add little weight and no discernable drag to the arrow.

White is bright...yellow is "ok" and orange doesn't help me (see above). You folks that see orange brightly would probably prefer it to the yellow.

I use these to make it easier to see my dark colored arrows on the target. They are fairly easy to install and stay put. Water does tend to cause the fluffs to stick together and sometimes fall out, so I don't recommend use in wet conditions. They do not affect arrow release or flight at all. The bright colors make lost arrows a bit easier to find if you loose one in your lawn while practicing.

As you age often your sight deminishes, and I find using binoculars a nuisance. This product is a must. I am suprised that these tracers affect the speed so little,I can see my arrows even in the shade out to 50 yards. Wish there were more colours.

Very difficult to put out paper from glue. I've shoot a wild boar with : much more easy to see arrow flight and hit than without tracer, you know exactly at the moment you shoot where your broadhead is! I'd like to train with, but not very durable : fur goes out too quick when taken many times in my back quiver (may be to close to nocks and fingers?)
