This is a must have. I went and wore it to school and at state FFA and everyone loved it. The down side of it is that in school everyone tries to grab it. The hat does retain it's shape real well but does get a few winkles. To "iron" out the wrinkles I place it on a flat surface for a few hours and it gets it's shape back. So if you want a girl get one of these hats

The first "HAT" I have ever bought. I probably have 50 or so baseball caps from the last 40 years and it took me all of about 20 minutes to get comfortable with the packer. I have a ladder stand with five or six targets set up in the back yard and the packer's brim folded perfectly at full draw. This was my only concern before purchase.

Service & Delivery comments:

Very prompt service as usual. I really don't know how you get that stuff out so quickly. I ordered this hat at 11:00PM Sunday if I remember correctly.

As always 3Rivers only sells quality products, and here again is another one that really works well. It goes anywhere. Roll it up and stuff it in anything, just unsnap it and it's ready to wear. I like the soft brim that does not get in the way of your bow string.

I like hats. This one is perfect for travel by air. Wearing a hat on a plane is not too comfortable as there is no place to hang it or leave it securely. The packer is folded up and placed in your luggage, when you arrive, take it out, unfold it and it's ready to wear. Also good for competition and practise as the soft brim doesn't interfere with the bow string.

I really like the hat and the way it feels, my only complaint is that right out of the box it has a broken stitch on the side crease and one on the top crease. I think that the stitching should have been better especially for an American made hat (a rare thing anymore).
However, it is a wonderful shooting hat and offers no bowstring interference, so I will keep it and fix the broken stitches myself. As always fast shipping from 3R.

I bought the 3R Packer as a gift for my husband, who had said he would like to have one of the "crushable" wool hats to take along on his archery hunts. He is thrilled with it. Easy to fold up and light as a feather. And of course, the wool is perfect to shed water but keep his head warm. He also likes the fact that the brim is so flexible and doesn't get in the way of his draw.

This hat is very comfortable for me to use with traditional archery. I was looking for a hat of this style to keep the sun and weather out and yet be pliable enough to bend easily with the bow string pressure as I draw the bow. This hat worked perfectly, was most comforatable and yes you can fold it up and pack it away. Highly Recommended.

All my family and friends like the way this hat looks on me. It's my go to hat when it's raining. I always wear it when I'm shooting my longbow or recurve because I practice the way I hunt. I've made several orders from 3Rivers archery, and as usual, my orders are processed fast and accuratly.

The packer hat is made of a thick rustic durable felt. After rolling up many times for packing purposes it DOES return to it shape. The brim of the hat does not interfere with shooting arrows. The hat is not to warm at room temperture and ok down to 40f. With a 23" (7-3/8") head for which my Stormy Wool hat fits perfectly this hat 7-1/4 to 7-3/8 is marginally loose. Maybe the sizes listed are British as shown in the pdf file.
