Comments about Ace Spine Master Spine Tester:

Spine testers are generally on the expensive side (I guess it's a quantity and demand issue), however this is a high quality and comparatively low priced alternative that does the job well. Nicely constructed and easy to use. A must have for anyone who is making their own arrows, particularly if your creating them from billets. I'm perpetually amazed how the same board can yield such radically differently spined shafts.

Comments about Ace Spine Master Spine Tester:

I just received mine from 3Rivers and was very impressed by the quality. Most of my archery tools seem over priced but not this one. I have it mounted on an attractive wood backing and clamp the backing in my vice when needed. The only negative is now I know that all my 40-45# spined arrows should have been grouped 45-50#s or more. My supplier should do a better job of grouping the shafts. Dale, are you listening?
