It's a great bowfishing reel. The first time I used it I just loved it, it is so much easier than my old reel. It is a little expensive but well worth it.

The AMS bowfishing reel is a good product, with a few down sides. The biggest one is that the line began to twist after a few dozen shots. This made it harder to reel in and also affected shooting. The no drag feature is nice but occasionally, while walking around a pond, you can get your line hung on a twig and it will pull it all out of the spool before you realize that you're hung up. Still though, it's a smooth reel that I recommend.

Works as it is supposed to, line flies out smoothly and tangle free. Only cons would be that the bottle is very flexible plastic and has come off several times when bumped. Reeling in the line can be a little challenging, but best practice is probably to pull fish in hand over hand then reel in excess line after landing the fish. The handle rattles more than I like when shooting. All in all a good product.

It is a great reel and shoots very well. The fact that it has no drag really helps the flight of the arrow, and its penatration into the water and into the fish. The one difficult thing about this product is that it is a little tricky to operate but all you need to do is pull down on the black latch in order to press the line up against the opening to get tension on the line so that you can reel it in but it is over all a great reel.
