Comments about Recurve Bow & Arrow Case:

With the majority of today's archers shooting compound bow, it is difficult to find high quality recurve bow cases; however, 3Rivers has done exactly that. This case is great for traveling or mid- to long-term storage of 1-2 recurve bows and a dozen of your best arrows. The foam arrow holders hold my wood arrows very securely preventing warping even if I must store them in the horizontal position. The other side of the case can hold 2 recurve bows securely. The case is element-proof for the most part, but I wouldn't try submerging it in your pool. The case comes with a good quality accessory bag for your odds and ends. If I have one complaint about the case, it is that there is so much room in the case that 1 or more compartments in the arrow-holding side could easily have been created to prevent the accessory case or other items from moving around inside the case. As long as you always know which side is up, this is not a problem; however, your accessory bag could fall on your arrows if you mix up the up and down side. This case is not appropriate for short-term storage while on the hunt as the contents are difficult and noisy to access. For short-term "field" storage, I would still recommend using a bow sock and a quiver cover.

Service & Delivery comments:

Extremely fast shipping. My order was shipped less than 24 hours after I placed my order. Case was packed well to prevent damage during shipping.

Comments about Recurve Bow & Arrow Case:

Just getting back into archery after a departure from the sport of many years. Only plan to target shoot of which a great deal will most likely be at our indoor range. Wanted to keep all equipment in a nice safe storage area and this case does all that I require.

Comments about Recurve Bow & Arrow Case:

I was looking for a combination case that would hold my recurve bow and at least 24 arrows in a stationary postition. I was looking for a case that would "pack" well for a move and protect my investment in my bow.

This case is big enough for two bows and two dozen arrows . It's strong and not too heavy . The price is a tad high but not that bad for the quality. Would buy another if needed.

Comments about Recurve Bow & Arrow Case:

I am just beginning traditional archery and I wanted something to hold my recurve, arrows and accessories. This case holds it all! It is very attractive, functional and sturdy (but it wouldn't withstand too rough treatment, such as the airlines). It holds the bow and arrows securely/safely and has a storage bag for my glove and guard. It is well made and worth the cost.
My only complaint is that it is very large and bulky, and I have found it hard to transport.

Comments about Recurve Bow & Arrow Case:

I can throw this in the back of my truck, drive out to the desert, or through the hills to the cabin. I know when I get there, that everything will be in the exact place it was when I packed it. I'm going to go buy a dozen more arrows tomorrow, just so I can try and fill the case. I have a 62" recurve, and the ties keep it where it needs to be. Love it.

Great traditional bow hard case
By JOAD CoachVerified Reviewer from Framingham, MA on 5/14/2008

Best Uses:
Dry Weather, Reenactment, Safely transporting bows, Target Shooting
Bottom Line:

Comments about Recurve Bow & Arrow Case:

As a JOAD coach, takedown cases meet most everyone's needs.....Then my wife got bitten by the traditional bug and bought a beautiful old 66" Bear. Case is listed as 65" long. The 64 1/2" inside dimension held her unstrung bow(at 63" tip to tip) nicely. It came with a small separate Navaho pattern cloth zippered bag that will be useful for incidentals. When we travel everything gets piled in the back of the truck. 3Rivers was the only place I could find a full size hardcase to protect her classic bow. I got great fast service. I only wish it was easier to tell top from bottom when opening the case. There is a little NEET brand tab sewn on the top but if you're not paying close attention you may open it upside down.

Comments about Recurve Bow & Arrow Case:

I need a case that I can protect my bows during short trips hunting and 3d events. When I take people with me the only place to put the bows is in the back of the truck. This case allows me to do this with the recurves(2) in a braced condition. One bungy keeps it from flying out and the case protects the bows while driving up bumpy roads. The only negative thing I found is when you open the case, the hinges don't allow the lid to rest fully open. A minor inconvenience. For $[...] it's perfect for my needs! Thanks, [...]
