If you need to add weight to your arrows,this is the trick.The weight tubes are easy to use, just cut and insert. I was able to get the weight I needed through out the whole arrow, not just at the tip. Just be sure to cut to the right length because you might pop you nock off if you don't. I just put alittle glue on my nock, I've always shot fixed nocks anyway so I didn't have to worry about witch way my fletching was facing. Overall a great product and I will buy more.

Hunting African game requires a heavy arrow. I use these weight tubes to bump up my Carbon Express Heritage arrows to +600 grains for use in my longbow and Scythian recurve. They do not influence the spine and straigness and braodheads just fly perfectly. Easy to use and all the off-cutts can be used in one of your other arrows-so nothing goes to waste.

I bought the 8 grains per inch tubes and add them to the easton full metal jackets. Wow the bow is super quiet and they punch though my 3-d deer, even in the fresh spots. Lose some speed, but penatration more than makes up for it.

A simple, fast,and easy way to increase the weight of your carbon arrows. A properly weighted arrow will give better penetration on game animals, which is important for fast humane kills. I use them in all arrows, even when target shooting. Very easy to use. Take off the nock or insert, cut to the length that you need. Pinch the tube in 3 or 4 places and slip inside the shaft replace the nock and you are done.

I bought these to add a little weight to my carbon arrows. They fit perfectly in my Beman's and flew really well. Arrow flight speed did decrease a little bit. Accuracy was still on though. I tried them in my Legacy arrows and they bounced around a little bit even after crimping and adding some tape. They still flew well, again just a little slower arrow speed. Overall they are a good, inexpensive way to add some weight to your arrows.

Easy way to bump grains on carbon arrows. Gets them into that 600+ range with no tuning issues. But make sure they are cut exactly insert to nock. If not, they slide and pop the nocks out. A dab of glue dosn't hurt to keep them in place. For some strange reason the arrow flight carries longer with tubes then if all the wieghts up front.

I desperately needed to bump up the weight of some Beman carbon arrows for use with my Tomahawk longbow and these did the trick. I went with the 3 grains/inch tubes ... worked perfect to get me up to the total arrow weight I was looking for. It is a good idea to watch the "How to" video and to crimp the tubes in a few spots to make them stay in place.

These weight tubes really increase your penetration. But by adding weight you lose some speed. On carbon shafts just crimp the diameter of the tube to fit with pliers. On aluminum shafts you have to crimp and add a wrap or two of electrical tape on crimp to fit.

they come flying out along with your nock right at the release, but when you try to crimp them like the instructional video says, you can't get them in. Unfortunately, you can't find an arrow heavy enough for hunting applications if you have a heavier poundage bow. Arrow manufacturers should just make arrows that are 500+ grains.

These actually improved my arrow flight right off the bat and didn't change the spine of my arrow. I was able to get the penetration I was looking for with theses weight tubes. My Axis arrows now protrude out the other side of my target and I am confident in getting pass-throughs on a animal with a 56lb. recurve.

I crimp mine in a couple of spots so that they stay in place (which is not really an issue). I've used them inside my arrows for a couple of hogs with great results.

Excellent product! I have no complaints and installation was a piece of cake. I would recommend measuring each weighting tube to the shaft you intend to put it in rather than just measuring one and cutting all of them to that length. Sometimes you have glue from the insert that shortens the available length of the shaft.

Weight tubes are a great way to add mass to your arrows. They are easy to use and easy to install. I glue mine in with gorilla glue, but they'll also stay in CE Heritage arrows with no glue. They are also easy to get out if you don't glue them in - just pull your nock or insert out and 'whip' them out or push them out with a small diameter rod. Some claim that they effect spine, but I personally haven't noticed this effect. If you want to increase your arrow mass these are a great way to do it.

This product is very useful in adding weight to carbon arrows. I have experimented with using the heavy insert for about 2/3 of the shaft and the final 1/3 with the light tube, adding to the FOC of the arrow.

You may need to modify your point weight to re-tune your arrow after installing the tubes. The 8 grain/inch tubes seem to make the shafts a bit stiffer which is ok, as I wanted to use a heavier broadhead anyway. I got my arrow weight up around 600 grains with the tubes.

Everyone knows carbon arrows are the most durable arrows. When you add these weight tubes not only does it bump up your gpi, but I've found that it adds flight stability and durability to your shafts I think its due to additional inner support. I went from 428 grains to 668 grains in a matter of mins with the 8gpi tubes.

Most experts agree that a hunting arrow should weigh a minimum of about 10gr. per pound of bow. For example, a 50lb. bow should shoot an arrow that weighs approx. 500 grs. But if you use lightweight carbons it can sometimes be difficult to increase the weight without increasing the spine or the balance of the arrow. The Weight Tubes solve this problem very nicely. All you have to do is add up the weights of your shaft, insert, nock, fletching, and broadhead (you can get this info from your arrow manufacturer's website). For example, suppose your complete arrow is 30" long and weighs 423 grs. and you shoot a 50lb. bow. This is below the recommended arrow weight for hunting. Simply buy the 3gr. Weight Tube and cut it to 28"(3x28=84grs.) If you add this weight to the weight of your arrow 423+84=507grs. Now you have the proper weight for hunting. Your arrows will penetrate deeper and have better flight. It is best to choose a Weight Tube that that will work out to be about 1" shorter than your shaft length to allow clearance for the nock. Also if you use a longer Weight Tube, the weight will be distributed over the entire shaft length, and will allow you to remove the tube very easy if you need to. I bought a dozen of these Tubes. After I tried them, I went and ordered three dozen more. Now I use them in all my arrows. A great product.
