The ugly ducklings of field points. Compared to the beautiful brass points I was disappointed until I assembled a few complete arrows. Wow with a bamboo shaft and pheasant feather fletching, these babies look good. Easy to install tho a bit prone to cracking the bamboo shaft. I will buy them again.

They're field tips, so not much to say here... Work/look great. SHARP! I got the 100gr 5/16 tips. No problems here.

Only con I would have is that the description states thet they are stamped for easy identification, which they are not. This could get confusing for people who have multiple field point weights and were expecting them to be labeled.

They are also picured as silver, when they are actually black (I prefer the black anyway).

I just put the cons in for other people to know what they are getting, I personally have no problems with these tips.

I wish 3 Rivers would sell The "Slicktip" brand. I spend all this money on shafts, feathers, and wraps to make my now high $$$ arrows look good and all I have to put on for tips are these ugly black field tips.

Hey they're field points. Not a whole lot to say. I got two dozen of the 5/16 inch points at 145 grains that are of the high shoulder type rather that the ones with the gradual ogive. They would have gotten 5 stars because each one weighed within 1 grain of each other on my digital scale but then I got to the one that was missing part of the point. It was about 10 grains off. Not a huge deal but there is someting to be said for consistancy and quality control and I beleive taking one star away says it.

I have shot them into hay, foam, wood, steel, and rock and they just keep coming back for more punishment. Durable and tough, and will not unscrew if you use a little string wax on the threading.

Im picky about points. Im even pickier when I have to make them fit with a HIT insert on my Axis nano-shafts. Its got to be just right. These bulk points fit just perfect, are of great quality and are priced great. The test kit is awesome. Just the right weights in 5/16" diameter. Nothing I cant spine with these. Thanks again 3 Rivers for, yet again, earning a 10 out of 10.....

I have yet to try the "glue on" field points as I am leary of them pulling free and getting lost in the target backing but I am very pleased with the screw-ins. The penetration is good and they have at the grain weight I've bought helped tremendiously in arrow flight.

These are the only field points I have found in the 9/32 diameter that are heavy weight for the traditional archer who likes the durability of carbon arrows.

These field points are great. They fly good and hold a point very well even when you miss and hit a tree. I have only used them for 3D shooting so far but from my experience so far I would not hesitate to put them on the flu flu's and go pheasant & squirrel hunting.

I use screw-in steel points for my woodscrew adaptors. They are easy to shift if they become dull. when I hit a tree I can unscrew the arrow and work on the tree without breaking the arrow.

Fit nicely on my Gold Tip Carbon arrows. They thread in nicely and match the diameter of the shafts nicely. So far, they seem to stay securely threaded in too. Fine product.

I have bought all my points from 3Rivers and have never been disappointed. The threading of the screw-in points have always been perfect and have yet to find a defective point even though I've purchased several hundred. They are perfectly formed, finished and balanced. My points see hard and frequent use as I shoot 300 to 400 arrows daily. Even the blued finish are still perfect. Thank you 3Rivers for a quality product.

I sometimes have an arrow go through my target and hit the cement wall behind it. These points are so strong that after hitting a cement wall all they need is a little touch-up with a file.

I purchased the 125gr steel filed points for my Beeman ICS bowhunter arrows. Opened the package and found them all to be uniform with no major defects. How can you screw up a field point? Just for fun I weighed a hand full of these tips to check to see if they were consistant. To my surprise they were all within + or- 1 gr. You can't get much better than that. I figured I would give them a work out. Shot several at the foam layered target. They seem to come out ok. No problems here. Next I shot the bag target. Here is were I found the only draw back. They were just slightly larger than my arrows, and in the bag target they wanted to pull out stuffing and stick in the face of the target upon removal. Next was stump shooting. I added the $.99 barbed style rings to aid in not over-penetrating. The tips performed great. They didn't show signs of deformation after shooting stumps and logs. Overall these are very good tips and I would not hesitate to buy them again.

11 of the 12 tips were fine. One of them had damaged threads and needed to be thrown away in order to not damage insert.

I use the above rated field points in various weights from 125 to 250 grains. I've never experienced an out of round or eccentric field point from your team. Getting ready to hunt, 3D shoot or trying new shafts the variety of weights allow me to set my shaft point weight combination without shooting broadheads. Once set, I have minimal actual broadhead testing which decreases risk and eliminates time re-sharpening over and over. Great product line.

It's nice to find heavier field points. Most stores only have 100 or 125 grains. My broadheads are 150-170 grains, so the 145's get me really close.

I use Wensel Woodsman screw in broadheads that weigh 150 grns These practice field points are only 145 grns and were the closest that I could get to 150 grns

I use both of these, but like the "bullet" points the least. Make sure you get the right size. If the head diameter is larger the the shaft it makes it hard to pull out of the targets.

These fit very well with the hidden inserts on my Beman arrows, the chamfered base makes them easy to pull out of 3D targets.

I use these 145gr. screw ins to achieve heavy FOC for my carbon arrows in all my recurves, even the lighter weight ones of 45#. I get a quieter, better shooting bow that is easy to shoot, better penetration, easy to tune for perfect arrow flight.

These are excellent field tips. They are tough(I've shot a few at rabbits and hit rocks)and are great for practicing on my block targets.
They also do not loosen easily like some other field tips I've used(although a little bowstring wax fixes that).

I have had good luck with these field points with my gold tips. + or - 2 grams on my scale makes tuning easy and helps to get all my arrows at a consistent weight.

Love that they have the grains printed on the side. I have so many different points it's good to know if they spill or get mixed up I can easily read the point weight on the side. However, why 145 grains? All my broadheads are 150gr. so I have to buy the 145 points and 5 grain brass washers to get an exact match to my broadheads. Only a small quibble but I'd love to have a batch of 150 gr, points.

These points make your arrow removal much easier from targets becasue they are machined exactly to specifications. The are right on the money in weight.

When needing a heavier tip for those Beman MFX classics or the axis shaft these 9/32 points fit the bill...no longer do I need to mess with broadhead adapter rings and use a 11/32 145 grain point to get what I need out of my arrow... A nice slim fit that the 3d targets wont moan about... Very sleek and good looking too!!!
