I'm still using the first judos I bought when I started last year. These things have paid for themselves over and over, not only for the arrows that don't get lost, but also for the time I'm not spending looking for arrows buried under grass, ferns or pine needles. Judos fly well and are very tough.

First of all, because of the long nose, they are easy to grip, for inserting into my arrows. Secondly, but most importantly, I have a Yellow Jacket target that my five year old can't consistently sink an arrow into. Instead, I put different sized balls on top of orange traffic pylons for her to shoot at with the Zwickey Judo point. She scores by hitting the pylon (one point) or knocking the ball off for 2 points. She doesn't need a lot of power and she gets immediate feedback from her efforts. We hear and see the arrow strike the pylon, and of course the ball strikes are obvious.

I've done a fair amount of stump shooting and ground squirrels (gophers) in my day. I've never lost an arrow with a judo point on it because it tears up enough brush or stands on its end so you can find it. It's devastating on small game. Once my judo point touched the gopher with just one prong and nearly decapitated it.

Judos have been around forever and I’ve used them about that long. My only complaints are on rare occasion the spring wires will break, they don’t fit well in a quiver and certainly not in a hip pocket. I’ve shot Judos into everything and they always perform well. However, recently I found the 3 Rivers Archery “Hammer” point to compare. I have to say the Hammer equals the Judo’s performance but with a simpler design that is 2/3 the price and fits in a pocket. If you’re nostalgic go with the Judo. But if you’re a practical archer looking for a simple and tough performer, try the Hammer.

Judo points give me the freedom to rove and shoot just about anywhere. They make the world your target! The Zwickey Judo point is the best made head of it's type out there. I tried another brand with a similar design, and they fell apart after less than a dozen shots. The Zwickeys withstand HUNDREDS of shots before they show any wear (just don't hit rocks with them!)

I bought some other judo points from Wal-Mart and Academy and they didn't last long, total junk. I have abused my Zwickey's just as bad as the cheaper judos and they have held up great! Don't settle on the cheap stuff because you'll just end up replacing them like I had to. Stick with Zwickeys.

If I had only two arrows, one of them would have a judo point. If I had only one arrow, then it also would have to have a judo point.
I use judos daily for roving through the fields and woods. They are better than any other point I have ever used for stumps, logs, leaves, shadows, even the occasional rock. Even with rocks, it is the arrow, not the judo which suffers most. Judos give one the ability to shoot almost anywhere, and make practicing as enjoyable as hunting.

They work great but... I use carbon arrows and, since this points are virtually indestructible, on direct hits on hard targets they jam the insert into my shaft, splintering it. I don't lose arrows but I have to be careful in my target selection.
