My hangup with carbon arrows were those little nocks, with the adapters I can use my traditional classic index nocks that actually fit my bowstrings. The other problem with carbon arrows for me is getting enough weight on them, the adapter with nock is about 10 grains heavier than just the nock insert. using adapters, cap wraps and brass inserts,my arrows are still lighter and faster than wood.

I have had some flight pronlems with carbon arrows in the past and this replaces the nock that seems to be tailered to compound archery and adds some weight to the back of the arrow which seems to help.

I hate those little girly nocks that come with carbons! These adapters let you use traditional nocks. Align great, dont add enough weight to matter, and are easy to remove when needed. Pair of pliers and a quick twist and they slide out! I use them on my compound, recurve and longbow arrows! They are well worth the money!

After switching to carbons, I lost a lot of nocks while stumpin'. These inserts have solved that problem. They are very durable and easy to use with index nocks.

I hate those little carbon nocks! I almost went back to alum. arrows. I'm tough on equipment and these things hold up! I use them with recurve and my compound and haven't seen a difference in arrow flight at all.

I installed these in my Beman ICS 340's because the Super nocks kept flying off when I was stump shooting or nicked a limb squirrel hunting. Once the glue has set, these things are solid. I also like using the glue-on nocks instead of the Super nocks because they are cheaper and feel better to me on the string.

I prefer glue-on's to the friction-fit nocks supplied with Carbon Express Heritage shafts, and these adapters allow exactly that. Unfortunately, the above shafting is just a bit smaller in diameter than similar sized aluminums (2016, etc.). If you use Bohning Classic Index nocks, there will be a slight overlap of the bottom of the nock to the arrow shaft. This is an important consideration when installing arrow wraps as well. The sizing seems to be consistent enough to use the adapters as a friction fit either before, or instead of, gluing the adapter in. This allows for tuning the nock/feather orientation with fletched arrows for the best flight. I would strongly recommend gluing the nocks onto the adapters *before* installing the adapters in the shaft, to provide for straight nock alignment. Overall, a good product if you like glue on nocks for carbon shafting.

I like Mercury nocks better than any because they don't snap, pinch the string or make noise. Now I can use them on my carbons with these adapters. Three Rivers needs to sell Mercury nocks. Please!

I have used aluminum shafts for many years now, and before that wood and fiberglass. I have grown accustomed to the feel of the snap on nock. Recently I became interested in shooting carbon arrows but found two things that concerned me. Primarily the back of the shaft was highly susceptable to damage from another arrow striking the nock. Second consideration was that I have some arthritis in my hands, and it makes it difficult to handle the more slender nocks commonly used.

Obviously with this product I can use the same nocks I have been using for years and I feel they protect the rear of the shaft by possibly deflecting the incoming arrow.

I am using these instead of the standard push-in nocks for my carbon arrows. This option allows me to use a snap action nock that fits my string better and doesn't allow the nock to back out on a hard hit.

I got some of these to be able to use full sized nocks and they worked out just fine. The small nocks from Beman carbons pinced my Longbow string, 5/16" nocks on these adapters work much better.
