Love the idea that i can change points on a wood arrow but .... have lost a number of these adaptors when pulling arrows from targets. Glue alone does not hold them to shaft. Have come up with the idea that i will have to 'pin' them by drilling a small hole through ferrule end where adaptor glues to the shaft and drive a 1/2 X 19 brad through then file brad smooth at furrule.

I used the woodscrew adapters to try different weight points on my arrows to tune for proper arrow flight. Much easier than changing glue on heads all the time. Just remember to add the 50 grains of the woodscrew and the point you have screwed in for total point weight needed for you tips.

These are a great addition to my arrows. i like the idea that i can change the weight of my arrow tips by just un-screwing one tip and inserting another of a different weight for arrow flight adjustment. And i haven't lost any off the arrow shafts yet.

I was curious about these and kind of wary. When they came in I was astounded. Perfect in size and shape, they mount very easily. I tried a few different heads on them and they all mounted perfectly. These ranged from Field points to old Bear Broadheads. Alignment was spot on and the small amount of extra weight(50gn) is negligeble. Great Job Guys!! I hope this is a constant product because I will be ordering more!!

The only two things I didn't like is that any extra glue on the end of you shaft tends to come out the front and clog up the treads, and they only come in silver.

Biggest thing with these is to make sure they are glued on to the arrow shaft very well. My first two shots of my brand new flu flus with these installed had one coming off right inside a 3D target and another came unglued when I was screwing a field point into it. I had to do thoracic surgery on the 3D to retrieve the wood screw adapter. I don't mind recommending these to people, just be aware of the gluing and the additional 50gr of weight.

the adapter offers me the oportunity to 1) change between field points and broadheads and 2) easily replace worn gear. A disadvantage is that it requires a high degree of precision in mounting as otherwise the arrow equipped with a broadhead will tend to fly in a spiral.

These things are fantastic! They allow wooden arrows to take any point or broad head that carbon or aluminum arrows can take. Plus they allow tips to changed easily on the fly without having to worry about changing arrow length or re-tapering or any of the hassle that normally goes along with using wooden arrows. If they cost 10 times what they do they would be worth the price.

It has been a long time coming but sooner or later everyone knew that these little jewels would have to hit the traditional archery market. I have used them for several days now and have been quite satisfied with them.

These are great if you don't have time or money to make up lots and lots of arrows--some to put field points on, some for broadheads, some for judo's, etc. They take the best attribute of aluminum and carbon arrows, flexibility, and bring that to wood. They also add a little weight in the process, which in my opinion is a good thing.

After 25 years of using aluminum arrows, I got a self-bow and want to use wood arrows. Having helped a friend years ago in changing points on his wood arrow, and having an investment right now in points and broadheads, I don't want to get involved with gluing points/broadheads again. These adapters let me glue them on once (like installing RPS inserts into aluminum arrows), then I can change points and broadheads without the mess and pain of hot melt glue.

Wwooden arrows become multi functionable - using all types of arrowheads. Arrows shot into wood - simply unscrew the arrow from the arrowhead. Removing the arrowhead with a tool.

I bought this product to accommodate my existing broadheads that are screw in type for use on my newly made ceder shaft arrows. The taper needs to be shorter and a bit steeper then for the glue on points I have I found to get them to fit. Not a big deal and they do make your arrows a bit longer then they normally would be for a field point glue on.

I had been looking for these to use my screw in broadheads for my carbons, on my cedars as well. Adds an additional 50 grains up front for better FOC. Well made with no problems in installation. Only draw back that I found is that they are a shiny aluminum, which I remedied by painting black.

Great stuff ... I use them on my Snarrow byrd points ... I would recommend them for wood arrows which you can interchange points in a snap ... great stuff!!!! Period!!!

Have used these exclusively for target and hunting on my Port Orford Cedar arrows I make. I use 190 gr. broadheads and the adaptor enables me to use 190 gr. field points for target with interchangable broadheads.
