I started using these adapters when I switched from wood to aluminum, so that I can use the same glue-on points and broadheads. The weight is very consistent and they are perfectly straight.
For a while I was bending the adapters when shooting stumps. Almost every day I was bending at least one. I was also using the rubber washers to keep the Judos from spinning out and to make broadhead alignment easy. When I stopped using the washers, I stopped bending adapters. It seems that the washers might leave just a little be of play, even with the head screwed on tight, creating a weak spot. Now I'm using just a touch of hot melt glue to keep Judos on tight and have not bent an adapter since.

I started using these adapters so I wouldn't have to buy screw in broadheads and points, but as it turns out I like the way the arrows tune, too. I'm also getting better penetration as my heads weigh about 170 gr with the adapters.

the adapters are the best ive used, unlike the other ones i have used with the big wide ridges, B.H.'s mount easily ,flush with the base of the adapter and always spin true.....GREAT PRODUCT

I made the switch to traditional archery several years ago. I fell in love shooting a Long Bow with Three Rivers traditional arrows. I am traveling to Alaska this fall to Hunt Brown bear on the peninsula. Wanting to shoot a much heavier arrow I purchased the Grizzly Stick arrows that Three Rivers offers from Alaska Bow Hunting. This is my first switch from non cedar or hickory arrows with glue on broadheads. I was looking for an insert to glue onto my proven Magnus two blade tips. I purchased these inserts which were very consistent in weight. I have been shooting arrows into cinder blocks and trees checking the strength of these inserts. I have not had one fell yet and it is getting expensive!

Necessary for my hunting purposes using carbon or aluminum arrows. Very consistent weight making broadhead building easier.
The threads occasionally will not screw into the inserts the first try, but this is rare.
