I put these brass points on the arrows belonging to my eight year old son. He loved them right away obviously for their aesthetics, and soon found that they were great for his 3D and target shooting. He put them to the test during a Trad shoot at Summit Archery and was quite happy with them.
Comments about Brass Points:
I saw these brass practise points and knew they'd look sharp on the custom arrows I make. They really add a touch of class!
Product was delivered on-time and ahead of the Christmas rush.
Comments about Brass Points:
The way these brass points thread onto the arrow, they seem to support the shaft better and make the arrow more durable. I have missed and hit things that in the past broke the tip off standard glue-on steel points, with no arrow damage. These are really the way to go and well worth the extra money.
Comments about Brass Points:
These beautiful brass points finish off a wooden arrow with all the class & function it deserves. I just love these things.
Comments about Brass Points:
These brass points are well crafted and true to the shaft center line. The scew on theats makes the points a sanp to install and fly much more acuratly due to their consitent weight and carefull machining.
Comments about Brass Points:
Look good and work well
Comments about Brass Points:
Since I found these I am not using any 'glue on' target points on my wooden shafts anymore. They seem to hold better and, with the help of the appropriate tool install faster and always 'dead on' straight with no mess.
Comments about Brass Points:
After several weeks of shooting, I finally lost 4 in 3D targets at a shoot last weekend. I now glue the screw-ins on my shafts. That said, I am ordering more of this quality product. 100 % satisfaction.
Comments about Brass Points:
I like the threaded feature, but I still glue them on and after 1 1/2 years I haven't lost one in a target yet. I am an Archery Marshall in the SCA.
Comments about Brass Points:
very cool points. something that not a lot of people have so it is definitely an eye opener.
Comments about Brass Points:
I have been to your store and I think you have excellent service.
Comments about Brass Points:
Look great with Traditional spun arrows.
Comments about Brass Points:
Work well.
Comments about Brass Points:
I just had a set of Old Micro Flights#7 reflechted. They still had the old 11/32 points that were rusted and did not fit properly. I saw the Brass points and I ordered them but in 5/16 and they were just perfect. They were the finishing touch on my arrows. I went out and shot a round at the local 3-D course and received many comments on the tips.
Comments about Brass Points:
These points are great. They're easy to install in both styles. Had a lot of good coments on them from my frends and I told them I got them at 3Rivers. I've bought 3 doz. so far.
Comments about Brass Points:
These are the best points I've used. They not only perform great but they are a classy look on my stained woodies.
Comments about Brass Points:
Absolutely beautiful and well made.
Comments about Brass Points:
I really like these brass screw on points. I use them for target practice. They don't come off in the target. I shoot into a grass matt. They seem to be less damaging to the target as well. When I get a hand full of the best shooters I unscrew the brass points and they leave thread marks behind which aid in the bond between my broad heads and the shaft.
Comments about Brass Points:
Great product! Well crafted, easily installed.
Comments about Brass Points:
This idea of a screw-on tip was a long time coming. I tried a couple dozen and immediately ordered another three dozen. Screw-on tips eliminate misalignment and glue overflow. All tips for wood shafts should be made like this, including broadheads! They are a little expensive, but worth it.
Comments about Brass Points:
I've been using these screw-on brass bullet points for over a year and love them. You do need to use the application tool, and it takes some serious grip strength to screw them into place (I use a rubber jar opener mat to hold the shaft). Besides the screw-on feature, I glue mine with 2,5000 lb epoxy. I haven't lost a single one in a target yet! And they make my arrows look really unique. These may be the most underrated product in archery today.
Comments about Brass Points:
These points always stay where they have to be : on your arrow, and never in targets when removing arrows !!
Comments about Brass Points:
These are the points my son wanted for the shafts he bought.
Comments about Brass Points:
I purchased these points to go on some pricy shafts I intended to use for display. They were very easy to install and align properly, and look terrific on the arrow. I wound up shooting about a dozen shots with them and was VERY impressed with the flight and penetration. These are great looking brass points that can be used for showing off, display or general target shooting.
Comments about Brass Points:
I weighed every one of them they were the same weight. They are easy to use and I use them without glue. I have not lost any tips, but I constantly check thet they are in tight just to be sure.
Comments about Brass Points:
Very easy to apply.
Comments about Brass Points:
I have been making arrows for about 40 years. I often make up wooden arrows for charity auctions/raffles. Nothing dresses up a crested cedar arrow like a brass point.
Comments about Brass Points:
Makes a beautiful arrow! These bullet shaped points are a joy to look at!
Comments about Brass Points:
It's a great product, easy to install, they fly nice and look good.
Comments about Brass Points:
Very good looking-especially with a dark stained shaft, but a little bit heavy.
Comments about Brass Points:
These are great points at a fair price they look good they they shoot good!
Comments about Brass Points:
These points lock up on a standard taper without any real effort at all. Great self aligning design runs true every time. Has a look that stands apart and behaves well in every target type I have tried, (foam, straw).
Comments about Brass Points:
It`s very easy too youse and it fly like a bird......;o)
Comments about Brass Points:
These points are 2357502958 times better than the regular glue on steel points. They wont pull off your arrow and look sweet too! Never gonna use those steel points again! Kinda spendy, but you get what you pay for.
Comments about Brass Points:
An excellent product. I buy the screw-ons, and also fix them with 2-ton epoxy. Haven't lost a point yet. And they make my arrows look so cool.
Too bad they only come in one size and weight.
Comments about Brass Points:
Nice quality, but at 125 grains they are heavy. I would prefer 80 or 100 grains in weight.
Comments about Brass Points:
These points just point so much better for me than the standard stepped down steel heads that most people use. If the tip gets damaged against rock I can just file it back to shape easily. I usually use glue to secure even though its threaded. I love em!
Comments about Brass Points:
I purchased the screw on tips to try something different and they worked just fine. They screw right on to the shaft. I haven't had any trouble with them coming off. The only downfall to these tips is they are a little pricey.
Comments about Brass Points:
These always get commented on when I tip an arrow with one. Better flight and penetration than a field point, too.
Comments about Brass Points:
THE SCREW ONS ARE EASIEST TO APPLY. THE NON SCREW-ON BRASS HEADS NEED TO BE PLACED ON AN ADAPTOR TO BEST STAY ON THE ARROW.
Comments about Brass Points:
I like this tip, I have been just screwing them on real tight and I never have one come off.
Comments about Brass Points:
I got these for target shooting and they work great.
Comments about Brass Points:
Nicely machined brass points look great on the shaft.
Comments about Brass Points:
I call these the "BULLETS," they pierce very well.
Comments about Brass Points:
This is easy to put on but you might want to buy the #GBT Screw-On Tool to help install them. No glue is needed, just use a taper tool to shape the point end of the shaft and screw it on. I have done this on the range when I broke a regular point off or had one stay in the target.
Comments about Brass Points:
Arrow tips adds to the beauty of arrow. Cost a little more.
Comments about Brass Points:
I will NEVER use another point for 3-D, or targets. These things rock! I haven't lost a point in a target since I switched to these three years ago, also the ability to field repair an arrow is great, just cut a taper and screw it on.
Comments about Brass Points:
Not only beautiful but they fly well. When mated to traditional looking arrow they would be perfect for reenactment shooting. They also seem to stay on better than my old field points. (of course that could be my fault).
Comments about Brass Points:
For the custom arrow look nothing beats these brass points. They go on straight and really dress up an arroww.
Comments about Brass Points:
I love these points. They work as good as they look. I highly recommend these.
Comments about Brass Points:
I've got more people asking me to make arrows, but only if I use these points.
Comments about Brass Points:
I like these points because you can always retrieve them if you break or change your arrow. They simply screw onto the taper and cut their own thread. Then you can either Glue them or not.
Comments about Brass Points:
All wood arrow field points and blunts should be as easy to install as the screw-on version of these points. Not only do the screw-ons eliminate the need for glue, they can be used again and again as arrows break.
Comments about Brass Points:
Points work well, don't rust, do not deform if you hit a hard object. If using the screw-on version make sure you buy the brass point tool.
Comments about Brass Points:
These easy to glue on 125 grain points are eye catchers at the practise range. Adds that little bit of extra class to your target arrows. Arrows seam to fly well, and no objection from range officials. What else could you ask for.
Comments about Brass Points:
Would like to see these points in stainless steel.
Comments about Brass Points:
These points not only go on easier but look great on wood shafts, I love the performance they give and are always straight once screwed on.
Comments about Brass Points:
Easy to fit. Great to shoot.
Comments about Brass Points:
I like the brass field points but lost the first one in a hard foam target. The point came off when removing the arrow. Soak and clean the inside of the point in denatured alcohol before gluing to the wood shaft.
Comments about Brass Points:
If the screw-on's are fixed to the correct taper and turned up tight they are immovable with normal use. Great innovation
