Comments about Deer Master Recurve Bows By Greatree Archery:

I did not like this product at first. Until I learned how to tune it. Get your brace height correct, and match the arrows, and suddenly a pretty sweetbow begins to emerge. Its stable, in the riser, the nice american hardwoods are not exotic, but walnut and maple together make a decent design, dark and light. shoots pretty fast, for 45#, Kinda wish I had a 50# model. lenght is easy to handle in ground blind situations, and it is very forgiving to shoot. no problem, takes down easy, buy it. by the way, there are many times im glad to have a 45# bow, its easy to pull.

Comments about Deer Master Recurve Bows By Greatree Archery:

I bought this bow for my sixteenth birthday to get into traditional archery. It shot great and the only complaint is that the one screw hole in the limb is not centered so the limb is slightly turned. Even with this, i was able to harvest my first deer with it cleanly which was a big doe. It is an overall great bow.

Comments about Deer Master Recurve Bows By Greatree Archery:

I had my 50# Deer Master for about 8 months when the upper limb broke. One call to Greatree customer service and I had a new set of limbs on the way the same day. Since I had already ordered a 55# Bear Grizzly, they had no problem with sending me a set of 40# limbs as replacements for the 50#s. The replacement limbs seem to be higher quality than the originals; brass limb bolt bushings instead of plastic and the tips seem to be better reinforced. I am curious to see how well the 40# limbs shoot as at 50#, this bow is a hot shooter. I never shot on a chrono, but my friend has a 55# custom reflex/deflex and his bow was chronographed at 198 fps and it definately shot a bit faster than his when we shot side by side. Overall, a great buy, even if you get a bad set of limbs, warranty replacement was a breeze.

This is a beautiful satin finish bow that is ready to hunt out of the box. The draw length was a little short for me with a 56" flemish string, But I am very satisfied ,shipping was fast. Thanks 3 rivers!

I've been using a Browning compound bow for a couple of years, but after reading about recurves, decided to get one--and I'm not disappointed. It's taking time to learn the sighting but that's the challenge. I really appreciated the prompt delivery of the order I placed, and had the bow assembled within an hour.

I really like mine. It is a good bow for a really great price. The take down feature is nice. It is fast and accurate. You cannot please everyone. The only problems you might likely have is the human on the other end of the bow. If mine broke, I would get another within an hour.

Comments about Deer Master Recurve Bows By Greatree Archery:

An excellent hunting bow. Has a black face so works well in black back blinds. Forgiving brace height. Little hand shock. Shelf is close to hand and the medium high grip allows for consistent hand location. Is able to be made very quiet. Shoots arrows hot and consistent. Shoots very well with cock feather in. Order replacement string as the one that comes with it is poor. String only reason for the 4 star. Does not come with a rest of any sort. I am using seal hair and is working well with the bow. I like it better then my custom bow that costs almost 4 times as much.

Comments about Deer Master Recurve Bows By Greatree Archery:

This is my first bow so im no expert. I love this bow. It's really easy to use, it's very light. The only problem I have is that one of the limbs are not mounted perfectly straight, and when I shoot the bow the string does not always go back into the groove perfectly. Creating aloud snapping noise. I also was not thrilled to see the made in China sticker on it. I do feel that for the price it is a very very good bow.

Comments about Deer Master Recurve Bows By Greatree Archery:

The bow is an decent entry level bow, a very good looking bow, however the construction is poor. The limb bolt on the bow I received was screwed in so tight I could barely get it out. It also goes back in hard, so I wonder if it is cross threaded some or there is glue inside of the insert. Also, the string that comes with the bow is almost unusable. The string loop was too small to slip over the upper limb far enough to string the bow. Throw it away and get a good Flemish string. Finish on the limbs is good, riser was so/so. But in all, an inexpensive take-down that shoots well once you get a decent string and looks nice.

Comments about Deer Master Recurve Bows By Greatree Archery:

This bow is a pretty good for the price. I love the convenience of a Takedown Recurve. The bow has a nice looking riser but the finish leaves something to be desired. My bow came with a lacquer run on the back of the riser. It shoots were you aim it. I have been shooting carbon arrows off of it with no problems.

Comments about Deer Master Recurve Bows By Greatree Archery:

I think it's a good beginner bow. the fact that it is a take down is very nice and useful, but it can be flimsy. I got my bow in Febuary for my birthday and it still holds up fine. it's kind of big but its good for someone new to traditional bow shooting. I have been shooting bows for 6 years and I'm 13. I know a good bow for a good price when I see it.
