I frequently bowfish in hard bottomed streams and lakes, these heads take some serious abuse! I have smashed these off boulder in 1ft of water with a 70lb. longbow and it barely damaged the tip with any significance. When done just simply resharpen the tip with a file and your good to go, I believe this tip will last indefinately.
