I suppose a plastic one might be better in poor weather, but I like the rustic look of leather better. Serves me just fine.

The Nock Protector I received was made of quality materials. While simply made, it fit well and so far has kept my lower nock in good condition and free from damage. Yes I would buy this item again.

Comments about Leather Longbow Tip Protector:

I had a hard time tuning a new pronghorn with this tip protecter on it. Another archer suggested I take off the tip protector because of all that weight out at the tip. I took it off and the bow shot much better.
