The rubber limb protector on my longbow finally deteriorated so I took the plastic limb protector off my recurve. It fits very well and looks like it belongs. Regardless of material, nothing lasts forever. I'm a happy camper.

I like to stand around and look cool with my recurve bow in one hand like it's a staff when I'm not actually practicing and this tip protects the lower limb. Seriously though, it's easy to get on and stays put and does it's job.

I just replaced a one of these tip protectors that had been in service for about 15 years. They fit most of my recurves and they stay-put once they're on.
