I use this on my Super Kodiak during hunting season and it works fine. I find it takes a little work getting it on because it fits very tight but once it's on it stays on until you take it off.

I purchased two of these for my small tip recurves , the leather ones were just too large and would not keep the bottom string in place well. These fit very snug and work well.

These things are a must to protect the end of your bow, but they are so slippery that they don't stay on certain elongated longbow tips. I've lost 2 this month already. Made out of a grippy rubber, they'd be perfect!

Tried on several narrow tipped longbows and found that they fall off because the string angle pushes them off. The shock of a shot just pops them off. On a recurve they should work well.
