I originally put a Soft Grip on my recurve that didn't fit well and was kind of sloppy in appearance. These leather adhesive bow grips let me go over the Soft Grips for a neater, cleaner appearance with the added comfort of the underlying Soft Grip. I also use these leather adhesive grips for making walking sticks with my son.

I used this product on a new recurve that came without a handle wrap in place. I have been searching for handle material that works as advertised for a long time. This is simple and provides what I am looking for and I have tried several and made a considerable investment in trying different types. The product worked great on the curved grip of the recurve.

I picked up a used Huntsman Longbow and the hemp wrapping for the grip was loose and bothersome. I replaced the hemp with the wrap and have really enjoyed the change. There is nothing comfortable about shooting this longbow normally. However it does feel better in my hand now.

Don't buy this in brown! Save more for me! I have 2 of these around my grip. I love it! I have the option to have my bowyer make a custom leather grip on my bow but I'm going to hold off. These grips work great and will turn a purdy custom bow into a purdy functional one with your own personal touch.

The bow grip wrap is quite easy to install, and if needed, it is also easy to reposition within the first few minutes. Care should be taken not to over extend the strap, as it will tend to curl on itself. The leather strip comes almost too short, so if you got big hands and/or a big bow grip area, be careful no to wrap it too close. On the sunny side, it is remarkably comfy and it's got quite good looks.

I put the wrap on my bow to increase the size of the grip and to give my hand something with texture to hold onto. In both case the wrap has proved to be very useful. Downside: I had to cut the wrap in several measured peices because winding it around the grip caused the wrap to bunch up and curl over on itself.

I used this handle wrap on an osage selfbow I made for my kids. It went on easier than I expected and is soft and comfortable in the hands. The adhesive on it worked great, stuck right on and doesn't show any sign of wanting to peel off. I liked it enough that I bought another one to apply to the full sized bow I made for my wife.

I have this on my recurve. It looks great and feels great. The leather stretched nicely to fit the curves of the riser. It's nice to grip this leather wrap rather than cold wood on chilly days. It even adds a bit of cushioning. Very easy to install with the sticky back.

Works pretty well at staying stuck on to my bow. Pretty easy application. Looks good. I don't have any complaints yet! It as a good feel to it and doesn't cause problems. Granted, this isn't an item of all the bells and whistles of a fancy leather grip or anything. It just gets the job done if you don't feel like holding the wood of a bow very tightly without a bit of padding.

The longbow I'm restoring is all new to me. It is nothing like the compound bow I've been shooting for the past year. From 10 yards, I'm hitting the 3'x3' target, but not getting anywhere close to the 6" target I'm aiming at, on a consistent basis. I'm using the wood arrows, the glove, the wrist protector, all for the first time. It's gonna take a while!

I refurbished an old, but still good, lemon-wood longbow. After using alot of Tru-oil it looked beautiful. But, I didn't know what to do for a grip. The wrap was easy to use and gave the bow the perfect look. On top of that it is one of the most comfortable grips I've ever used.

My longbow is very old and looks to have been made by a true craftsman. The original leather grip was dried out and falling apart. The new bow grip looks very much like the original one and helps to restore the beauty of the bow when someone made it long ago. I'm real happy with the new grip.
