Comments about Dead-On Traditional 3 DVD Triple Feature!:
Good chance you won't find all of Scott's material relevant; there's a basic section on bow types, poundage, arrows, rests, brace height that advanced archers will find elemental. However, there are a number of good shooting and form tips and examples, and more importantly, Scott shows what real dedication looks like day by day in order to consistently deliver when the pressure is on. You want clear ideas on how to be at the top of your target or hunting game, then looking at what Scott does will provide relevant insight and practical suggestions. Few of us will pursue his strength and conditioning regiment, but all of us will hunt and shoot with more confidence if we tune ourselves up like we do our equipment.

The information is OK - but - if you have checked out any other source of info on traditional archery you aren't going to get much for your [$]. [...]

I am a 25 year compound shooter/hunter,finally making the switch to traditional, and this DVD provided a tremendous foundation for me. I would recommend to the beginner as well as the long time traditional shooter.

Comments about Dead-On Traditional 3 DVD Triple Feature!:
I enjoyed this DVD, but be aware that Scott shoots a very heavy bow, and hence is able to flatten his trajectory, in turn making instinctive shooting easier. Scott won a state title for bodybuilding years ago, is a semi-professional mixed martial arts fighter (Ultimate Fighting stuff), still powerlifts, etc. Not many archers could handle the bow he shoots.
There are a few scenes at a 3D range where some of the archers absolutely appear to be gap shooting. While there is nothing at all wrong with this, and while it is traditional archery, it's not instinctive archery.
The best advice this DVD offers is on the discipline required to shoot and hunt well. Scott clearly feels that hunting with traditional equipment demands that the archer train hard, shoot constantly, and compete with himself and others to excel.
