IF I WHERE A PROFESSOR AT ARCHERY UNIVERSITY THIS WOULD BE THE TEXT BOOK I'D GIVE THE STUDENTS TO READ.IT'S ALL THERE IN GREAT DETAIL.WELL WRITTEN AND LOTS OF ILLUSTRATIONS.

I was a skeptic before I picked up Tony's book. Just didn't think it could be as good as people said it was. So I finally picked it up when I realized that I need to do something about my shooting which has been less than stellar. Read the book and realized that I really need to work on my form, I was all hunched over. Now I'm working on that and my shooting is getting better, slowly but surely. It is also extremely informative. Talks about arrow material, tabs/gloves, strings, really anything about archery.
I hear a lot of new people that enter trad archery asking the same questions over and over. If everyone would just get this book, everyone would know what to do. It's all right in that book, and I cannot emphasize that enough. If your new get the book, and even if you've been shooting for years, I'm sure you will find something helpful in it.
He even adds some mild humor to the book as well making it even nicer to read...

If you only buy one book on archery, this should be the book you buy. Whether you are just getting started or at an intermediate skill level, you will benefit from reading this book. It saved me from making an expensive mistake with equipment. Great book for down to earth basic information.

I think it leans more to the target archer, but even hunters can learn much from it too. A good resource for anyone.

Mr. Camera has done the archery community a great service by penning this book. As a beginner I couldn't have spent my $20.00 more wisely.
The picture quality is reasonable to good but should be improved upon in future editions.

This book should be read by the first time archer. You will learn that there are a lot of elements to shooting a bow and arrow that you should learn to become proficient archer.

Anthony Camera has given us a book with information gleaned from many years of collected wisdom. The topics covered are "encyclopedic" in breadth and he presents multiple perspectives on many of the topics with no bias. The result is a guide for the stickbow shooter that will will be referenced over and over for years of enjoyment. Mr. Camera has indeed made an important contribution to our sport with "Shooting the Stickbow."

If you are a "stick bow" fanatic, this is your book. Informative and a complete archers guide.
Written in easy to understand language with some homespun humor thrown in. It's like having a good friend looking over your shoulder.
